not only is she underage, she is his cousin. Now, if she was older and at least a 3rd or 4th cousin (or how about not related) sure...but that is not the case.

If I recall correctly, while they are cousins, they are not closely related enough for that to be considered incestuous. American citizens in a little under half the states are allowed to marry first cousins, and its allowed in many countries.

And, in terms of their race, it probably would be a good thing for them to mate to continue their species, even if they don't become a a monogamous couple.

Anyway, Krypton considered marriage between cousins to be unlawful, but I'm not sure if that version of Krypton was destroyed due to DC's universe/timeline thing:

She is not underage. She was 15 or 16 in 1958, so that would mean she is about 72 today. While Kent is either in his late 80's or early 90's.

Second Picture: not actually "Supergirl" and also not his cousin. That's Linda Danvers, an ordinary human who merged with the Matrix entity that called herself Supergirl because her powers were vaguely similar to Superman's.

Third Picture: also not Supergirl. That's Obsession, some sicko just changed her hair color from brunette to blonde. The original image was the cover of Adventures of Superman #574 - Something Borrow, Something Blue.

Cousin's dating and marrying is outlawed on Krypton, it was stated in a few SA comics, and hasn't changed AFAIK.

Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that he seemed to actually look into the possibility of them getting married? When would he ever need to look up this information or even come across it when researching Krypton if not for that exact reason?!

That...is a good point... unless he was learning about their society, which would include laws, and found that listed.
