Should I buy Batman: Year One?

I want to start reading Batman.

I have read some comics, the mosy famous ones basically and I'm thinking about buying this one.

Yes. It's one of the greatest superhero stories.

Yes it’s really funny sometimes, though just to let you know this Batman is more of klutz then regular Batman nor is this Batman as skilled or competent. He’s still competent though nothing that would make you angry.

It's the greatest Jim Gordon story ever.

Oh, and Batman's in it too. He's fine I guess.

It’s a great Batman story. Definitely buy it.

Yes this one is a good one. Not the easiest reading. Some also don't put up with the art. But definitly the best origin story.
