- Considering how cheap digital storage and bandwidth are at scale, it should be a hell of a lot cheaper. No printing and no shipping cuts out a huge amount of the cost to produce comics as they are today.
Should digital comics be more cheaper then regular comics.
Them being regular price online is exactly why I don't buy them online. I'd rather have the physical copy if it's going to be regular price. I'd be more inclined to buy them if they were a dollar cheaper. So far the best online comic service to me, has been Marvel's unlimited digital comics subscription. Seriously, 50 bucks a year for unlimited fairly recent and old comics is a great deal.

yes...definitely...it's the reason that I don't buy full games from PSN or Xbox Live...why should the people downloading them have to pay the same price as the physical version when they aren't paying for the case and disc?

and publishers have them too for free IIRC.

@aztek_the_lost:
don't they link some #1's for free on comixology? I remember that it had Y and some others for free.
BB
Absolutely. There's no reason that they should be any more expensive than $2, unless of course it's a collection.
The only things I've been buying on comixology is Invincible trades, which go from $6 to $12 depending on how many issues are collected. And the first issue's free, so there's no way that's not fair.
@aztek_the_lost:
true.
this thread should remind you to update your "Vertigo Comics Currently Available in the DC Digital Store" list, DC added some issues this week like 100 Bullets is up to 79 issues now IIRC :p
BB
@aztek_the_lost:
do you remember how fast do they add issues? and any idea why is it slow to fully collect series that were just finished a few years ago (100 Bullets and Unknown Soldier)?
BB
@aztek_the_lost:
edited the first question but it looks like you answered it, so it's pretty unlikely that would finish collecting those series?
