Should a DCEU Zatanna movie be PG-13 or Rated-R?

PG13 easy. Why would Zatanna benefit from an R-Rating? There's nothing particularly edgy about her that would warrant it.

R rating would be better, DC magic universe can be pretty brutal and it should be that way in the films, we already have enough PG 13 films from MCU, let's being in more adult stories.

I don't see why it should be rated R. Zatanna was never really that kind of character unlike Constantine for example who would benefit from rating like this more.

Billy is treated as having magic/god powers in all the stuff hes been in. Phantom stranger ever getting a movie is laughable and theres a swamp thing series on DC that got canned. If you really think Zatanna deserves a R rated film you know nothing about film making or the character

Tbh, a lot of her stuff has been depicted with gore, dark magic and brutal murders. Wouldn't mind if it's Rated R, her movie could be a lighter version of Evil Dead (since the real Evil Dead frankly makes even Joker or IT look like shampoo commercials, and having such a gory movie wouldn't attract a lot of comic book fans).

It would only need to be R if they plan on showing Zatanna's t or a. No other reason for it to be R.

R would be interesting. I would make it more of horror type of movie. Got magic. Demons. And the good horror movies are R.

I don't see anything about Zatanna that demands an R rating but I admittedly don't know much about her. Not sure who the villain would be or what a solo Zatanna movie would look like.

A justice league dark movie might benefit from a R rating but not Zatanna solo. With that said I think DC would benefit from lighter toned movies. They currently have a bad reputation about being edgy. If its unnecessary they should avoid movies with a darker tone for the time being IMO.

Zatanna is one of my favorite dc characters and while I think it being rated R would be badass, I don’t think it’s necessary and would only hurt it’s box office earnings.

Make it whimsical fun with a similar vibe to the DCAU. Don't bring any occult nonsense.

Film-makers should aim to make superhero films for kids first and foremost. They need the escapism.

R-rated content doesn't make a film more mature.

The Incredibles is PG, and it's more mature than most superhero movies.

I prefer Batman Mask of the Phantasm and Spider-man 2, but I could understand the Incredibles being considered the greatest superhero movie.
