They revamping the site a bit

HELLO, WE'RE MAKING SOME CHANGES

As of February 25, we will no longer show the ‘Want to See’ percentage score for a movie during its pre-release period. Why you might ask? We’ve found that the ‘Want to See’ percentage score is often times confused with the ‘Audience Score’ percentage number. (The ‘Audience Score’ percentage, for those who haven’t been following, is the percentage of all users who have rated the movie or TV show positively – that is, given it a star rating of 3.5 or higher – and is only shown once the movie or TV show is released.)

What else are we doing? We are disabling the comment function prior to a movie’s release date. Unfortunately, we have seen an uptick in non-constructive input, sometimes bordering on trolling, which we believe is a disservice to our general readership. We have decided that turning off this feature for now is the best course of action. Don’t worry though, fans will still get to have their say: Once a movie is released, audiences can leave a user rating and comments as they always have.

Last but not least, you will notice we are making some layout changes to the site. Through our research department we have learned that our users would prefer a cleaner, less cluttered, presentation of the Tomatometer and Audience Score. Don’t worry, the information and data are still there (promise!).

I don't blame them. Dipshits who obviously lack simple reading comprehension skills were trolling the site over a misunderstood quote.

They should remove all of them, this system is pointless, almost every movie sits at 90%+ unless brigaded by trolls.

The movie looks shitty but RT polling system is stupid, it can be easily swayed as I dont see a lot of people actually using it and all it takes is a low number of triggered fans to repeatedly vote against it swaying the score so the website is catering to the SJW Marvel film removing it

While its about time to do something. I do however find it slightly worrying that it takes a Disney movie to do it. Disney just getting too much power in the industry, everything will be catered to their needs, what they want etc etc.

Spoken by someone who hasn't doesn't understand the motives or desires of the camp he loves to vilify so much.

Even if this particular camp of anti-SJWs is a bit stupid, because this is a pointless, silly campaign. But I can tell you this: They aren't around disappointed about this. This is probably even a win by some of them, they got a company to react and punish a lot of others and demonstrate a larger stupidity. That is more than most any of them expected to be honest, and something they are happily going to be writing home about.

"Don't feed the trolls" by making them relevant is a phrase for a reason, and boy, did they just score some relevancy. They are now going to be able to show that they were the ones who created so much media butthurt (and they hate the media, so it will be a badge of honor) - that they even forced RT to do something foolish because of the media pressure. Yeah, as THE ONES to have done that... Yeah, they aren't crying, they are laughing their butts off all the way to the bank.

On topic: While the trolls were somewhat annoying, and this is not the only movie, this company move is stupid, and only seeks to protect themselves from the PR about butthurt people in the media about people pushing a 'not wanting to see' button.

@benjamin_poindexter: "misunderstood quote" ? Larson is an idiot, it's more than a quote, she went on an on with a message that backfired bigtime. I believe her heart was in the right place but she went about it the wrong way. It's a shitty looking movie anyways.

@abstractraze: Ah so Goebbels was a "liberal"? If he was, well I don't want to see your conservatives.

What both the Nazis and the Reds had in common is authoritarism, coercion, totalitarism, but they shared no left/right ideology. In terms of left/right the Nazis were pretty much dead center.

Check out the Political Compass.

Cry me a river manipulative leftist crawler, for the same reason you manipulated history as well, National Socialist weren't conservatives, National Chauvinism isn't real nationalism by any means.

The only thing which could be argued about Nazis being right-wing/conservative, there was a national(chauvinist) background, considering that Chauvinism isn't a real nationalism, those claiming the German ethnicity as the master race, but they placed traditional aspects on a secondary priority meanwhile they preached for the eradication of the religion, a typical modern Liberal and Leftist target today.

Conservativism stays for tradition, national protection, protection of the leading regional religion, qualified immigration in order to keep the national wealth stable and the national citizenship remains as a priority.

Otherwise, Nazis were left-wing/socialists or fascist liberals.

https://www.snopes.com/news/2017/09/05/were-nazis-socialists/

The Nazis were left-wing socialists. Yes, the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany, otherwise known as the Nazi Party, was indeed socialist and it had a lot in common with the modern left. Hitler preached class warfare, agitating the working class to resist “exploitation” by capitalists , particularly Jewish capitalists, of course. Their programs called for the nationalization of education, health care, transportation, and other major industries. They instituted and vigorously enforced a strict gun control regimen. They encouraged pornography, illegitimacy, and abortion, and they denounced Christians as right-wing fanatics. Yet a popular myth persists that the Nazis themselves were right-wing extremists. This insidious lie biases the entire political landscape today

In statement after statement, Hitler could not be clearer about his socialist commitments. He said, for example, in a 1927 speech, “We are socialists. We are the enemies of today’s capitalist system of exploitation … and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions.”

However, the assumption that because the word “socialist” appeared in the party’s name and socialist words and ideas popped up in the writings and speeches of top Nazis then the Nazis must have been actual socialists is naive and ahistorical. What the evidence shows, on the contrary, is that Nazi Party leaders paid mere lip service to socialist ideals on the way to achieving their one true goal: raw, totalitarian power.

How I'm trolling, sustain yourself instead of babbling nonsense, Disney, Marvel opted for the identity politics agenda a leftist liberal movement such as from the LGBT community, it's more than evident that it's a factual situation and now because of the backfire, they resort to censorship and it seems you are a stalker like gum under the shoes, have some pride and let grow some balls, if you have problems with me, come and say it face to face and don't resort to third persons typical effeminate libboy.

Clearly it's the detractors that are in the wrong here.
