Robert Downey Jr. vs Hugh Jackman

Ironman in stomp. Just look at the universe they represent for the answer. IM reps the MCU. Jackman the FOX men. No one will remember the FOX men. While the MCU will probably still be going 20 years from now.

Really hard to choose. Hugh by a very slight margin just because I consider him the better actor.

Jackman. The scene in Apocalypse was great as hell

I think Hugh was great but was in a bad franchise while RDJ was great in a good franchise so RDJ will be remembered more.

Doweny himself said he can go beyond Infinity War.

it also depends on the next version of the character depending on what actor will be worse in the next role the more we will remember either RDJ or HJ

Id say both equally. Hugh's been Wolvie since the early 2000s and RDJ jump started the MCU craze

RDJ no doubt. I like Hugh and all but his stand alone movies have been fairly disappointing. The Wolverine wasn't bad but Origins was just.......ugh

This guy, but Hughverine is fantastic and will be missed.

Honestly Ironman is overkill. Jackman won't even be remembered more than Scar Jo's Widow or Cap. The FOX men altogether is not on Marvels level.

A better comparison for Jackman's Wolverine would be Affleck's Batman and the DCCU.

Jackman for me. He actually became Wolverine in each film and made the role his own. It'll be hard for anyone else to play the role as masterfully as he did, with both the looks and the Sean Connery-like swagger/charisma. Jackman will always be remembered for being Wolverine. RDJ will always be remembered for being RDJ.

That said, Robert Downey Jr is always fun to watch, but is mainly RDJ being RDJ in most of his MCU appearances. I'll miss it too, but not in the same way. I'm actually looking forward to someone else's take on Tony Stark. Not so much with Wolverine.

Hugh Jackman; because I think he's needed a lot more for this shaky Xmen franchise than Downey is needed for the MCU.

Downey is the face of the MCU, so him but Hugh Jackman is awesome as well.

This time was special tho. He was a real savage beast unlike the other times. He was mindless out for blood and just slashing and cutting and killing everyone that came in his way like a beast.

Robert Downey Jr. Not only did he define the character for a generation of moviegoers, but his interpretation of the character was so well received that ever since, the oc Iron Man was written to closer resemble his movie counterpart. Iron Man is a film reliant on the strength of it's leads, and he carried that film, giving Marvel a platform to build their empire. Films like Iron Man and Civil War really demonstrate his dramatic depth.

Hugh Jackman is great as the character, and emotional depth might outclass Downey Jr's, but I still vote Robert Downey Jr.

Ironman is just one step up here. This is not a washout by any means, Wolverine lead the way until IronMan 1 was released.
