Respect The Reader, Radical Literaturist

Okay, yeah, absolutely. I know what happened here. I did it.

Introduction

Reader is a pretty cool character due to his potential in within his special power- he can read something and it'll come to life, basically a form of reality warping.

While this seems pretty overpowered (and it still is) Reader was thankfully given a few nerfs to make him a bit less godlike- he was blinded at a young age, meaning he needs to use the language of Braille to effectively use his powers, and his powers half in strength every time he uses them, requiring him to sleep for at least an hour to restore them back to full capability.

These nerfs actually make Reader quite vulnerable, and means he needs to rely on a lot more than just his powers to survive, having a keen intellect and impressive fighting skills and reflexes (implied to have been learnt from Stick himself)

He also has a cute dog, which automatically makes him TOAA

Literary Manipulation

Scan 1/2- By reading the word "Death", Reader kills everything around him. (The Uncanny Inhumans #10)

Scan 1/2- Creates a castle instantly by reading the word of it (and he was weakened with this feat, which made the castle smaller than usual) (Uncanny Inhumans #3)

Heals a person from a gun wound. (The Uncanny Inhumans #16)

Reader accidently creates a real life version of Daredevil's fake twin brother, Mike Murdock. (Daredevil #607)

Reader can only use his powers three times before needing to recharge by sleeping. (The Uncanny Inhumans #6)

Scan 1- Reads the word Freeze which stops all of time around him for a limited space. (Inhuman #4)

Scan 2- While time is stopped, he uses a Read command to see through the eyes of his dog.

It's eventually established that Reader can basically do anything with any word, so long as he personally believes in the definition given for it. (Inhumans- Judgment Day)

Scan 1/2/3- Rewrites reality multiple times to escape being shot, going through the same situation dozens of times until he gets it right via a Braille sign written in his own blood (The Uncanny Inhumans #10)

Tries knocking out someone by reading the word Sleep (The Uncanny Inhumans #7)

Transmutates a demon into Braille by changing his molecules into a language, hence the word "Write" (The Uncanny Inhumans #10)

Uses the word Away to teleport outside of a secure complex. (Inhuman #10)

Scan 1/2- While weak, Reader is able to rewind time by ten minutes (at full power, Reader can go back hundreds of years but doesn't pull this off often due to the consequences of it) (Uncanny Inhumans #1)

Skill

Fights off multiple armed fodder while in combat (and unlike Daredevil, he's actually blind and has no handicaps apart from his own skill and instinct (Uncanny Inhumans #3)

Knocks out a dude with a shotgun, dodging his blast in the process. (Inhuman #9)

Technology

Uses camouflage technology as well as a jetpack to get around. (Inhuman #4)

Conclusion

Pretty cool, the potential for his powers is almost unlimited (even if it is restricted by his blindness and psychological limits) and you can do a ton with him.

Sadly he's massively focused in Inhuman comics at the moment (which are written like arf these days) so the likelihood of good stuff coming out is MASSIVELY unlikely.
