Respect King Shark, The Absolute GOAT Character (DCEU Respect Thread)

Honestly we've seen like 5 seconds of King Shark in the recent The Suicide Squad trailer but he's already my favourite DCEU character by far. He doesn't have like an origin or whatever so we'll jump straight into it.

King Shark is a huge man-shark so it's logical that he's incredibly strong.

King Shark rips a soldier apart like paper (The Suicide Squad)

II. Durability

King Shark is an extremely durable character due to his unique physiology.

King Shark tanks a shot from what is seemingly Bloodsport (The Suicide Squad)

Which is impressive considering Bloodsport has "intense star power" according to the director (@JamesGunn on Twitter)

King Shark gets slammed into a building by Starro, which based on visuals is easily a building level feat. Based on director intent we do know he survived (The Suicide Squad)

Gets hit by tons of falling water, which is higly likely to include pieces of glass, and he survives with a pretty impressive piercing feat (The Suicide Squad)

III. Speed

King Shark may be a fat shit, but he's extremely fast for his weight class.

King Shark keeps up with peak- and superhumans which is impressive considering his mountaineous mass (The Suicide Squad)

IV. Teeth

King Shark has those sharp jaws with which he can easily chomp stuff.

King Shark absolutely chomps a guy to death (The Suicide Squad)

V. Intelligence

From what we've seen of him, King Shark is likely the most intelligent DCEU character yet.

King Shark proves that he is very knowledgeable on human anatomy by pointing out that his hand is, in fact, a hand (The Suicide Squad)

King Shark can read books, proving that he is very knowledgeable on the English language. Not only that, but he also reads the book upside-down, probably to challenge his intellect even more! (The Suicide Squad)

King Shark knows what a bird is, which is impressive considering he's a sea creature and there are no birds in the sea. Thus, this proves that King Shark has lots of knowledge of things outside of his usual habitat, similar to how astronomers have knowledge of space (The Suicide Squad)

VI. Omnipotence

King Shark is an unbeatable opponent, no matter how powerful the enemy.

King Shark transcends fiction by flooding the irl movie director with his shit (@JamesGunn on Twitter)

VII. Conclusion

King Shark is an omnipotent of the verse, and deserves a place solidly above Superman, Doomsday, Steppenwolf and Darkseid combined. His intelligence is above the most formidable minds of the DCEU such as Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor. An absolute god overall.

Yeah, Starro is the main villain. We can see his leg in a close-up but we can also see his entire body on a computer screen in the background.
