Respect Venom (Flash Thompson), The Guardian Avenger
Bio:
Project Rebirth 2.0. The government's attempt to create a new super soldier based on Spider-Man's powers, one even better than Captain America. And they succeeded. Flash Thompson, former bully, war hero, and number one Spider-Man fan, bonded with the symbiote. At first, their relationship was strictly controlled with drugs and Flash was not allowed to wear the suit for too much time. However, Flash's bond with the symbiote (or Klyntar) grew, and he soon defected from the military. This was when Venom and Flash developed their bond. Although the symbiote initially resents Flash for his use of drugs to suppress it, they ended up developing a relationship and partnership surpassing Eddie's own, as the Venom symbiote himself grew and developed after being purified by fellow members of its species - the Klyntar. Now that he has been purified, he is more powerful than ever, making Flash even better prepared to handle cosmic threats! With Flash, Venom has gone from being a street level hero, to Avenger, and most recently, to a cosmic protector, as part of the Guardians of the Galaxy as well as a Space Knight in his own right. And then he goes on to eventually lose Venom in a story so badly written we shall not talk about it here... And then he dies in an even worse story later on.
