Rated R Venom movie

Venom is apparently going to be rated R and will be more of a horror movie than a comic movie.

What are your thoughts on this?

I personally love the idea of a venom horror movie.

It is a strong rumor from what I have read. Some articles are making it sound like it is gonna happen. I have even read that it isn't going to be connected to the MCU sadly and a Black cat and Silver Sable movie might be connected to it as well. They are not confirmed, but this is also a speculation thread as well as just letting everyone know about it.

I do not have high hopes at all.
