8. She was a badass, for me probably the only good thing in the movie.

8. Cate Blanchett played her a bit over the top but she was having fun with the character. Her being Thor's sister seemed unnecessary. Also I found her CGI headdress a little distracting. But those are minor quibbles.

As a villain she was formidable and posed quite a threat to the heroes, so much so they had to bring about the destruction of Asgard. She was badass.

6, nothing special. Casting someone like Blanchett and giving the character no personality is counterintuitive.

7/10, was kinda Cliché although it didn't really matter due to the joke-y tone. Also I feel like she was irrelevant in the MCU.

6.

If she’d been played by literally anyone else she wouldn’t be getting nearly as much praise.

7.3.

Has greater potential if she had more screentime.

7, she was a little too overpowered

8, she was badass and sexy. She crammed as much personality as anyone can squeeze out of what were mainly battle scenes. She however lacked a "secret story" and was much more black 'n' white than, say, a Loki or a Thanos.

7. She had great potential, esspecially the scenes where she judges Odin for his mistakes, but it all went to waste. At least Blanchett killed it.

8. She is one dimensional but has excellent acting. Cate Blanchet is perfect for the role and made her into one of the most lively and entertaining villains in the MCU. While she didn’t have a very deep backstory, motive or arc her performance is was more than enough to warrant her praise as a character.

The only non-comedy character in the movie.

Not as strong as she should be. And was kinda forced into the movie, Odin has NEVER mentioned her before why now?

7/10.

For a plain villain with typical motivations and personality, she had a lot of flair and style. Mostly props to Cate Blanchett.

8, great performance, great movie. Wish they would have stuck with the source material a bit more and actually have her as the Goddess of Death.

7 or 8

If it was anyone other than Cate playing the character it would've been 5 probably.

She had much more potential.

We could've seen flashbacks of her and Odin. We could've seen some good arguments and moments between her and Thor.

Both Loki and Hela felt somewhat betrayed by Odin so having Loki and Hela have a moment could've been so good.

The movie was funny and I liked it but it should've had some moments to make us feel so that the movie gets elevated
