I haven't watched it either. But S1 is one of the highest rated comic book show seasons.

When this show delves into tangential abstractions, I effing love it. But then they get back to the main excuse of a plot, and I borderline hate it.

I think second season's finale was more of the latter.

(didn't rate it, still processing)
