Rate the teaser trailer for Avengers: Infinity War

8. I reserve 9 for that second Black Panther trailer and 10 for the Thor Ragnarok teaser.

To me this movie is so overhyped by both fans and studio/directors that im feeling like every trailer and probably the movie itself will only be a letdown. One can only get so hyped.

The movie does have a big possibility to be a letdown since no matter how big and bad the villain is they will build him up and break him all the way down in the same movie. They would do well to make a short 2-3 movie series just based on fighting one big-time baddy.

I like that Marvel held back with this trailer. WB must take a lesson from this. A solid 8/10 for me.

Come on. Its hard to overhype a movie that has the most notorious villain in the MU and which the mcu has been building towards with multiples movies over the last 5 years and which literally features every mcu hero plus others we haven't even seen yet. If anything, the hype train has been kind of low from a marketing standpoint up until yesterday.

Solid 7.5-8. I feel like future trailers will be even better

We've only seen Thanos since 2012..

I have a bad feeling they will kill off Spider-Man because of Sony

Well it was a teaser wasn't it? Regardless less is more in the case of infinity war. All the trailer should tell people is that it will be epic and there hasn't been anything of this scale before. I think the trailer succeeded with that. They don't want to show to much like BVS did.

@jashro44: It’s still two parts, but they are committed to telling a full story and I’m guessing the title of the 2nd film Avengers 4 will give away the plot. My guess is the Skrulls are working with Thanos. Avengers 4 could be Secret Invasion. Or maybe it’s Secret Wars and Phase 4 will be Secret Invasion.
