Rate the mangaka : Haruichi Furudate

Welcome to a brand new segment of Rate The Mangaka! Today's segment features popular sports mangaka Haruichi Furudate who is responsible for the manga known as Haikyu!! . The manga follows to teenage boy who shared a grudge against each other each since one of them, Shōyō Hinata, had his team crushed during a junior high volleyball match by the opposing team who had a member known volleyball player prodigy known as Tobio Kageyama. They would then enter the same high school and said high school's volleyball team by coincidence. This forces them to put their grudge behind and help the team retain it's former glory as one of best teams in the country.

I'd personally give him a 6. I'm not exactly a fan of his art but his narrative is actually pretty good for the target demographic. The story's pretty engaging and his characters all have memorable traits that help them stand out from the rest of the cast. It's also very educational on how Volleyball is played.
