Is it possible to add a “see results” option without messing up poll results (see results gets 30%, skewing the results or something). It would be helpful to know about writers that I don’t know much about.

Also tag pls

That’s a good recommendation! I can do a “see results“ option in the future, but I can’t edit this poll. I’ll be sure to tag you as well.

Is there any specific writer you’d like to see? :)

Aw yeah. I love these types of threads.

I haven't read all of Alan Moore's works but I'd think he's at least an 8/10.

Not one of my favorites but a very good writer.

There's a funny irony in that as much as Moore and Grant Morrison don't like each other, both share a common writing weakness: they have a tendency to get overexcited at times. Creativity can come before execution if that makes any sense.

Like he's still a great writer: just the ones listed off here are enough to rank him very high, let alone everything else he's produced: but he does have issues where he's introducing all of these wild and colourful concepts but not really fleshing them out any. He invented T.A.O. as a really cool idea, but he does fuck all with the guy until years later when someone else takes his lead. It's not hard to see that same issue with a lot of his creations.

One of the best to ever do it, the range of genres he wrote is ground breaking in terms of Comic Books.

10/10. Moore and Gaiman basically did what Nolan did with superhero movies. Brought in more realistic and natural stories in the superhero genre.

@eslay03:

I've only read Watchmen and that is a good as a comic could be written

Unreal world building. He should be a 10 from creating an entire universe by himself.

Moore's got some of my favorite stories under his belt (my personal fav of his being for the man who has everything) that being said not all of his work is gold (I'm looking at u young blood) & while his writing for characters, themes & subtext are near god tier his short comings in things like action scenes are a bit more of a let down when compared to everything else he does so masterfully 8.5/10 genuinely fantastic

10. He is the pinnacle of comic book creations which are oversaturated by modern writers. Also I want to see Geoff Johns as well as Brian Michael Bendis plus Jason Aaron thread(since many people are rating Moore a 8 or 7).

i personally think he is an ass hole but in my 29 years of reading comics he has put out a good number of great works i kind of see him as the liberal frank miller which has lost alot of favor with people but also put out a big number of great comics

I haven't read a single thing that he wrote that I dislike so I'm going with a 10. There's a reason people refer to him as "The Original Writer".
