As requested by @indomitableregal, Today's rate the comic book artist features Andrea Sorrentino. Known for his stylized art that heavily relies on inks, Sorrentino is a fan favorite comic book artist to have debut in this decade.

Initially known as the artist for the New 52 relaunch of I, Vampire (A damn good horror comic book by the way. Star crossed vampire lovers who end up at war with each other with appearances from the likes of Stormwatch, Batman and Justice League Dark.). Sorrentino becomes the known collaborator of writer Jeff Lemire and works with him on well received runs on Green Arrow and Old Man Logan.

As of the moment, he is currently on yet another Lemire collaboration, This time on the Image Comics title known as Gideon Falls. Said title has won an Eisner Award last year.

A very unique artist with a very unique style who I just love. However, as much as I might be a fan of his work I don't think his style suits every story. He has a different vibe which doesn't always work.

7/10 for me.

I'll agree that his art is not for every story but when it fits, it is great. I like his work quite a bit although sometimes I think I like his covers a bit more than his interior work
