Nostalgic memories. Hard as hell, but still fun and a lot of cool original characters.

I would actually love a sequel to this. Always nice to see more fighting games out there, and with everything that's happened with the Marvel brand over the years (the MCU and whatnot) it would be cool to see how they do it.

This game and Ultimate Alliance were my favorite games when I was younger along with Halo and Gears.

YES! Marvel Ultimate Alliance is pretty much the reason I'm a Marvel fan today. You should make a thread on that too.

@superhero24: I've got fond memories so I'd give it a 6. It was awesome when it first came out, but over time it's lost it's luster.

Do the heroes actually die during the story mode?

Holy crap it's been ages since I played that game. I almost forgot about it.

The heroes die in the intro video, and the playable "Classic" characters all fall throughout the story mode, eventually.

That's in the game anyway.

The comics may be different.

No it means they fall off of their chairs.

You'd have to play the game, or read the 6 Issue mini-series to know for sure.

I played the game, but didn't understand whether the heroes actually die or they're just KOd for a while.

LOL!

A couple "die".

Some are "possessed" by whatever makes them green & twisted.

That game was meant to be the first of a couple games.

The heroes lose initially, the Imperfects take their place, and then eventually the heroes mount a comeback, and the Imperfects that survive that confrontation leave, led by Paragon.
