Stalemating the Shinobi alliance isn't that impressive and the four kages had no chakra

The Gokage exhausting their chakra reserves from fighting the statue is a feat for the statue, not the other way around.

Orochimaru had the kage healed, The kage arrive on the battlefield and we see Gaara and Tsunade blatantly use jutsu as well as every kage jump into combat.

the idea they were tired from the Madara fight at that point is just fanon.

Shikamaru definetly stays last place, that's for sure.
