It's not necessarily bad, just dissapointing. She's got a really cool and unique design in the comics, but here she just looks like a very generic alien baddie. I would never guess that she's Proxima Midnight without being told.

Honestly I don't really like the design. Maybe she'll look better in the trailers and the movie.

She's ugly, at least from this angle. But it maybe her original design that is quite hard to adapt... or so it may seem. Thor franchise did pull some surprises in adaptation/reinvention of comics designs (credit where it's due), so maybe it's just a fail on the costume/CGI team behalf.

I think she looks amazing here.

That's with old characters who have designs that look out of place in a live action movie, other than the oversized head piece the original design is pretty good for live action.

Looks uglier than her comic counterpart but other than that she looks like a good villian. Cgi and all

Here is the design of the whole Black Order squad. I really like how they made them, especially Thanos design.

@ithemanwithoutfeari: she looks a lot more manly/terrifying.

In the comics she was evil but she was pretty sexy not gonna lie

Asgard's aesthetics were generally adapted pretty well, even Thor's helmet, that was eventually ignored, looked fine. And so was Odin's, Bor's and Loki's (not amazing, but all passable). Her entire head looks abysmal. Should've went with a sized down headgear imo.

Simplistic and gets he job done. I don’t mind it.
