@rem: What did he do in the N52?
He'll eventually learn to useriøs his powers properly and to their full extent so he'll become a high tier over time but in his own movie he'll be pretty underwhelming
@rem: What did he do in the N52?
Yeah the scene where he punched that concrete wall? Happend in The N52 almost the exact same way.
some lines were taken straight out of the N52 too. On the other hand, some small Aquaman lines were straight from the N52 too but he’s nowhere near his comicbook level.
@amcu: @mrmonster: is he gonna be stronger than supes in your opinion ?

N52 Shazam is pretty umderwelming compared to superman and his P52 version. But still laughably above WODC superman. he could get N52 feats just based on interviews with the actor who plays him.

I doubt he'll get that powerful.
@supermanthor: I don't think so. At best I think he might be on par with Clark but not stronger.
Mid-tier for majority of movie but will show off high tier feats in the third act. Seems like they have not shown any third act stuff in trailers and promos, which is a good thing.
Off-topic: I had a thought / concern about the movie in general recently. If this movie does well and a sequel gets green-lit, won't the kid actor playing Billy eventually get too old for the role or at least not look the part at a certain point? Puberty will do that to a kid. I don't know much about Captain Marvel but I can't recall the oldest Billy has ever been save for Kingdom Come.
@amcu: @mrmonster: ok thanks guys

I don’t think so at all. the dude is like 16 Playing a 15 year old. I think Tom holland is in his mid 20s and he still looks young enough to play a 15 year old peter Parker. shouldnt be a problem
@rem: Good point, especially if a sequel gets fast-tracked if it does well enough.
Like in any origin film he won’t really have a clear grasp of his powers until the end. Since he’s basically a kid he’ll discover them through random accidents, and not truly be aware of what he can do until he’s pressed
MoS Superman level at best which is still pretty powerful making him a mid-high tier.
I just don't think they'll have him lift buildings or drag ships like Superman or fight on the level of DCEU Flash's speed and so Superman will have the obvious advantage of having more feats because of having more appearances.

MoS Superman is a solid high tier, tbh. Clark's best striking force feats are from MoS, lol.
OT: Only time'll tell.

KoL taught me well.
Well hes bullet proof that already makes him above Thor
Now you’ve gone and triggered him
<Sigh>
hey man, it’s not our fault that Star-boy is Mach 0.6 and casually multibuilding-Level
@ourmanuel: hes probably petting his Thor doll telling him its ok hes star level
Well hes bullet proof that already makes him above Thor
Fight.
@thebestofthebest: Ay man, I’ll debate with someone like you, but I do my best not to respond/debate trolls

Dude I’m just messing with you.
Plus, wasn’t there an image that showed Thor being bulletproof? I can’t remeber it so maybe you can post it here to debunk marvelanddcfan. Also, in avengers 1, right in loki’s entrance I remeber bullets bouncing off of Loki’s body, though it could’ve been what he was wearing that saved him.
@ourmanuel: I know you are, but a user who I shall not name isn’t joking to my knowledge, and he’s made quite a few comments about me that are very disrespectful
Yes, Thor is obviously bullet proof. His armor is, and he is as well
Loki was hit in the face by gun fire and he didn’t have a scratch from what I could see

@xzone: Loki is a frost giant
@xzone: Thanks for the compliment but damn, I thought you guys were kidding..
@tonymartial: And? Asgardians are comparable to Frost giants, but even past that, are you really saying Loki is more durable than Thor?
X
@thebestofthebest: sarcasm doesnt exist anymore in our present day world
@marvelanddcfan24: If you say so, sure.
@thebestofthebest: The comments he made are obviously not sarcasm
X
@arc_conductor: If he has a sequel he will be in three movies, this the Black Adam solo movie and the sequel to this.
@ourmanuel: I may have to make an entire thread explaining all the detailed reasons why Thor is bullet proof, because there are way too many people who actually believe Thor isn’t bullet proof
X
@ourmanuel: Scaling from Loki, he should be bullet proof (but I doubt he can fully tank 30mm rounds). The latter no sold a bullet back in Avengers one.
@xzone: Eh, I can see that now.
