Christopher Reeves was the most polite superhero, but l found Tobey Maguire to be more polite than Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland. I think he was more polite than Henry Cavill who came off as equally smug as he was polite.

Obviously he was a good guy he was a hero for sacrificing things but this is personality we are talking about. He was taught from the beginning to not stand up for himself just in case he gave away his powers by accident.

Then Zod forced Kal to revel himself. He didn't even choose to revel himself as Superman on his own.
