Tyrese actually isn't that bad of an actor... I feel like people haven't even watched him in anything other than his mainstream roles like FF and Transformers.

Even if it is him, Hal is going to be in it as well. So if you don't like him at least he won't be the main character.

People act like John Stewart is some complex character. The guy is as boring as watching paint dry. If anything they need to get an actor that has a little personality.

Why do people want Idris by the time were deep in DCCU he'll be too old to do anymore movies. Tyrese is fine.

Stop casting people from the Fats and Furry-ous franchise.

The only one that i get is The Rock, but they either have no acting skills or screen pressence, some lack the two of them.

@deathpoolthet1000: Have you seen Annapolis with Tyrese and James Franco. People should watch it before condemning Tyrese. He was awesome in Baby Boy and Waist Deep as well.

Having read a LOT of Green Lantern, I can honestly say that John Stewart really isn't that amazing. First and foremost is that he gets the least amount of ink time out of the 5 human lanterns (I even feel like Baz has gotten more by now)

The ink time time the he does get is good, hes always a BadA. BUT he's a one-dimensional BadA. I feel like people want him as the main lantern in the movies because he's the only lantern they know. This is because of the JL cartoon from the early 2000s that everyone has seen.

I can't even tell you how many times I've talked to people about Hal Jordan, and as I describe Hal to them, they ask "Wait, I thought the Green Lantern was black???"

Terry Crews would be a better pick for John Stewart.

John Stewart is one of those characters very few writers understand. And he's likely going to be stuck with that stigma for long to come.

Give us Kyle Rayner or we riot.

Idris Elba is an English gentleman, he would be a terrible choice.

Both him and John can gtfo as far as I'm concerned. Tyreese isn't as bad an actor as some feel, but I don't think he suits the role IMO.
