Latest chapter spoilers dropped today. I feel bad for any Kidd fans out there

I don't thinking he would win because he's Luffy's rival is coping. Even hoping he would go down and get some hits in was too much. Learning the hard way Oda doesn't hype up characters for no reason.

I knew Shanks was going to win, but damn Shanks is really that strong to one-shot Kidd.

He got dumpstered and his dreams crushed with the story even saying their pirate king dreams are dead now. Even if Law died to blackbeard he went out better than that

Luffy got one-shot every time he has faced a Yonko. Kidd going at the most hyped character in terms of haki without having any of the advanced versions himself is a recipe for failure.

Although I do find it out that Kidd isn't getting the haki blooms in extreme situations Luffy and Law is getting.

@fangdanerd: We gotta wait for the chapter to be out to know for sure, maybe Kid was already injured and weakened when Shanks "one-shot" him. If he really one-shotted a fresh Kid, that'd make him easily the strongest character in the series (so far) I think.

I always found it odd that Mama Raid did less damage than Hawkin's bonking Kidd on the head. The fact that it didn't even cut him makes it worse.

So Kidd actually got one shotted lol. Though it doesn't seem as brutal or gruesome as some people think, at least for me.

Shanks used the same attack Roger did on Oden. Killer even took some of the attack and lessened the blow and Kid still got one shot by it. Crew members say Kid is on the verge of death. Narrator says Kid is utterly defeated. Jesus....

Last evening i was eating dinner at a fancy resturant in Berlin. The waiter asked me if i wanted to order more food, so i replied "I am Captain Kidd". He then handed me the bill as he knew i was finished

Shanks saw into the future, shut down & obliterated this man, had his crew begging for mercy / handing over Poneglyphs and had his ships destroyed for good measure. I don't see how Kid bounces back from this so close to end game.

Holy shit lmao. At least Shanks' future sight gave Kid some respect on his offensive power, but then he showed off just how far above he actually is.

This latest chapter raised so many questions for me!

• Did Law lose against Blackbeard?
• Are we gonna have a 3 way battle between Blackbeard Pirates, Navy and Strawhats???
  • Who's fighting who? Who is taken on Kuzan? Kizaru? etc??
• How strong is Mihawk really if he could spar with Shanks?
• Why did 2 Yonko feel it necessary to build armies to face the World Government?
• Why is Shanks moving to act now? Is Luffy's awakened fruit that important to stir Shanks?

And the even bigger question; what did Joy Boy of 800 years ago faced that defeated him? What secrets and weapons does the world government have that could beat Joy Boy? We certainly haven't see it yet and it has to be something Vegapunk has not created.

There's gotta be something the World Government has which can keep the Yonko at bay. The Rocks Pirates might give us a hint given how close they were to do anything significant to the World Government...

it doesn't take something we haven't seen already to take out joyboy. kaido would have had if he weren't fucking around all the time.

cuz 2 is better than one and summit war proved that the world goverment has superior numbers&quality to match that of a Yonko so yeah.

mihawk was always Yonko lvl. some people just tried to downplay him for god knows why.

It's good thing Oda writes the series and not the brain dead. Law dying right now would be terrible writing during this juncture. He would have to go out like Tony Starks in End Game. Too big and popular of a character.
