A friend sent me this and, holy shit. That's one of the best fight scenes. That's some John Wick level bullshit.
Fast Forward it to like 2:30.

@lan_fan: Who hasn't watched the Raid? That's like a Cult Classic.
@rbt: Really? That's disappointing to hear.
It's awesome but it could've been done better.
Yeah. The actor was too stiff in some scene. And the stoic face added to some scenes but took away more. Though I think the stoic face was intentional since he is actually a very good actor.
Have you guys watched The Raid?
No. I have watched most of the clips though.
Guess it makes sense then where they spent all their effort in creating an effective movie from what I read. Probably one of those movies where if you lessen your expectations by a lot, having a weird taste, and watched it more than once, then it might someday be decent. It's like making a movie with a scene at a camp or fighting ground and its only highlights are that the cg rocks, grass, and dirt laying around in the landscape look so realistic.
@iceheart_30: I know its supposed to be over the top fight scene, but even then I can't take it seriously. Would be great for the battle forum though.
That's John Abraham, Bollywood Actor.
The choreography and the fancy moves might be appealing. The knife slashes were honesty not bad and looked brutal but if you watch the actor on screen keenly, you'll notice what's weird.
Its not just clear that he didn't perform the stunts himself but the actor also looks very stiff and his moves don't look flexible and fluid at all. He's built like a tank and that's not helping at all. He should've lost muscle mass and focussed on looking nimble.
