The Animation and fight is 10/10 :-)
The Plot......2 -_- Kill your Best Friend so your father can FINALLY call you Son????
@mooty_pass: twin brother*
yh there's context thats missing which i dont know if you'd care to hear since its kinda long.
@the_living_tribunal_24: Please tell me the context because that video rubbed me the WRONG way.
I got time :-)
@mooty_pass:Ok for reference this is the original without the music:
basically they're twins(they have a younger sister but thats the sequel), their father emperor valkorion(being controlled by the former sith emperor vitiate) basically "disowned" them at birth saying that they deserve nothing and that they need to earn everything in life while having no one to protect them but themselves, arcann(white) and thexan(black), so they grew up with the concept of having eachother all the time and holding onto each other as hard as possible(hence why the various forearm handshakes throughout the video symbolising their grip on each other and brotherhood), it then comes to their training to become soldiers in valkorion's army fighting against both jedi and sith, when they're just young thexan(black) demonstrated the superior physical and force skills helping arcann out during practice, arcann(white) does not demonstrate any level of jealousy, but instead he looks to see valkorion's face but valky just ignored them and walked away, although easily dismissed arcann developed resilience and was determined to do better and to earn respect amongst the ranks while thexan still believed as long as the 2 of them stuck together they would be fine, as time passed both entered the war, arcann more resiliant and battle ready than ever.it carries on with multiples shots of, ok ill be back in a few hours watch the official video pls
@the_living_tribunal_24: The ONLY thing i'm hung up on is...why did it take the Death of his Brother for his Father to finally acknowledge Arcann. OK, mind you I don't have that much extensive knowledge about ALL THINGS Star Wars. But if i'm not mistaken if you have too much emotion....doesn't that introduce you to the Dark Side??? Becasue you can see in Arcann's eyes that he's slipping to the Darkside and when he kills his brother his Eyes changes back to innocent Blue.
0/10. Hate the music and hate the artist. Rather listen to an airhorn or nails on a chalkboard than Tentacion. Sorry, I'm not unbiased enough to look past that
@mooty_pass: yh im back from a nap. It wasnt the death of thexan but the fact that he gave in to the dark side to the point that he would kill the thing most precious to him, valkorion saw him as an easy puppet, giving him what arcann always wanted.
Yep its the whole concept behind many jedi turned sith, the purest of intentions can lead you down the darkest paths. His eyes turned back after realizing he just killed the only person that really mattered, this all symbolised by how they do their regular forearm handshake but arcann isnt holding him hard enough to keep them together.
@foxerdes: fair enough
@jmarshmallow: thank you, did you vote??
Music doesn't fit at all. The original video is brilliant.
@the_living_tribunal_24: Ooooooh Ok. Hmmm. I don’t like that concept. Lol
Thanks man for the explanation. I see now why I never got into Star Wars feels too complex for me(IMO)
I'm trying to be as much objective as I could.
1) I don't like Star Wars. I really don't. Not only the last few series but even the original.
2) The music is a complete garbage and has nothing to do with the video and its tones. Even if it had, it would have sucked anyway.
3) But the animation is impressive. Really impressive.
4) The story seems interesting as well.
So I'm going with solid 7 because point 3 and 4 are the most important here, but can't fully ignore 1 and 2. So objectively it's between 7 and 8, but I'm giving it 7.
