Wish they would have at least went with the classic/PreNew52 lightning bolt logo, but the suit looks spot on ripped from the pages of the comics, can’t ask much more from that.
@Penguin-Dust: what negatives have you heard about the film? I think this is the first dceu film that hasn't had the usual bad rumors attached to it.
Well, Aquaman actually seems to have had a pretty smooth production so far. Worse news I've heard even related to the movie was that one of the film crew got stabbed in a bar after the initial filming wrapped up (he's fine, don't worry). But yeah, after a year of news outlets reporting every little hiccup in JL's production as the nail in its and WB's coffin, it is nice to just have the other filmshoots going fine.
It has been stated that the movie will be more lighthearted than the other DCEU movies (the lead comparing it to "Big" with superheroes), but I don't think it's going to be an outright comedy. I know the director has at least said the comedy in the movie will be more situational than quippy, so make of that what you will.
I don't read a lot of stuff with shazam but the image gives a fun feel for the character that I would expect given the character is a kid in a grown mans body

At the very least we know that the filmmakers are looking at the character first and deciding what tone to go for based on them instead of just making all their movies the same. Shazam will be more lighthearted, James Wan said Aquaman will be in the vein of an Indiana Jones style adventure, and Wonder Woman 2 will have the same director as the first so we can expect something of a similar tone to the first (serious but still able to smile and be heroic).
Daamn that suit and Shazam himself be looking good! Can't wait for official footage. For some reason I feel like this movie's a train wreck but the actor has been really passionate about this character ao I hope it turns out great.

I just don't want an Adam Sandler family movie.
Oh, lord no. Besides, I won't really call the bad Sandler movies "lighthearted". I really doubt we'll have the actor playing Captain Marvel also playing Billy's ear-grating twin sister and have deer pissing on people.
