My Justice League Dream Cast

I've already pitched my Justice League movie as part of my ideal DCEU, but here's who the cast would be.

Superman - Tyler Hoechlin

While I like Henry Cavill as an actor, his portrayal of Superman is a little too angsty. Hoechlin, who plays the Man of Steel in Supergirl, perfectly captures the fun yet serious side of the character that we know and love. Therefore, Hoechlin is the best choice to play Superman in a movie.

Batman - Christian Bale

This is likely never gonna happen, but this whole post is about dreaming. So, if you've seen the DK trilogy, you know that there will likely never be a better Batman than Christian Bale, who captured everything about the character, from his darkness and angst to his sense of humor.

Wonder Woman - Gal Gadot

If there's one DCEU actor who's truly captured the spirit of their character, it's Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Her portrayal of the character is strong, brave and beautiful. The role fits on her like a glove.

Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) - Ryan Reynolds

The 2011 Green Lantern movie had its problems, but Ryan Reynolds' portrayal as the titular character wasn't one of them. He actually fits this role really well, so he would absolutely be in this cast.

Green Lantern (John Stewart) - Idris Elba

Idris Elba literally looks exactly like John Stewart, and the role would fit him well. He plays Heimdall very well (or did before he died in Infinity War), so he's already used to playing a superhero with amazing powers.

Flash (Barry Allen) - Grant Gustin

Ezra Miller's funny and all, but Grant Gustin captures every aspect of the Flash in his portrayal.

Aquaman - Justin Hartley

The Smallville version of Aquaman was cool and light, while Jason Momoa's portrayal is a little too edgy. Hartley, who is older now, would make a great Aquaman. They'd just have to make a better costume.

Cyborg - Michael B. Jordan

While Ray Fisher's portrayal of Cyborg in Justice League was slightly wooden, Michael B. Jordan would capture the youth and fun of the character as well as his seriousness.

Green Arrow - Stephen Amell

This is probably my most obvious casting choice. Stephen Amell's portrayal as Green Arrow is flawless. If I hadn't cast him as Green Arrow, I would have failed this city.

Martian Manhunter - Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel has everything needed to play J'onn J'onnz: a deep voice, muscles and a round head. There's not much else needed to play Martian Manhunter.

Shazam - John Cena

John Cena would do perfectly as Shazam. He has the muscles and humor to ensure that.

If batman was Christian bale I would love the DCEU so much more

Superman - Tyler Hoechlin

Ugh... Didn't even read past that part. I'll prefer Nic Cage' Superman over that guy.

Big Nopes all around.

Batman: tie between Michael Fassbender and Jon Hamm

Wonder Woman: Gina Corano

Hal Jordan(GL): Chris Pine

John Stewert(GL): Trevante Rhodes

Barry Allen: Chris Evans

Aquaman: Jason Mamoa

Cyborg: Michael B Jordan

Green Arrow: Charlie Hunman

Martian Manhunter: Mahershala Ali

The CW actors aren't that good, and Jon Cena is a big no.

@quantum-savage: Not a bad cast, I'd keep Ben Afleck though and for Green Arrow id go for a older more rugged version with Brad Pitt.

@quantum-savage: Hunman would be better as Aquaman.

Justin Hartley played green arrow in smallville, not aquaman

Also Ryan Reynolds as Hal was stupid. Cast john krazinski or josh duhamel as Hal

Tyler Hoachlin looks like Flashpoint Superman.

Also Justin Hartley was Oliver Queen in Smallville, not Aquaman.

My cast would be:

Supes - Henry Cavil. With a better direction and better writing, he would be the perfect live action Superman, second only to Reeves.

Batman - Jon Ham. When i heard he was to be considered for the role i was very very happy. Afleck was a good choice, him (just like Cavil) just need better writing to work with. But Jon Ham would look great.

Hal Jordan - Jensen Ackles.

Barry Allen - Adam Brody.

Wonder Woman - I'd be ok with Gal keeping the role. Can't really think of an actress who'd fit the role.

Aquaman - Joel Kinnaman.

Green Arrow - Garrett Hedlund.

Cyborg - Ray Fisher was ok.

Martian Manhunter - I really don't know.

I know he already voiced him, but I think he would be a great live action one too

Green Arrow - Charlie Hunman or John Krasinski

Shazam - Zac Efron or John Cena

Hawkgirl - Karen Gillan

Lex Luthor - Ralph Fiennes or Jason Isaacs or Mark Strong

The Joker - Leonardo Dicaprio or David Tennant or Jake Gyllenhaal or Matthew Mconaughey

@solar_nerd: I would have Karl Urban as Deathstroke, but he would be good in Batman as well.

I chose Jake Gyllenhaal for Batman because he shows a much more tormented version of the character, and I think can bring in a bit more of his detective elements. Just look to his movie "Nightcrawler" and you'll see he could basically play anything from the Batman to the Joker.

Second choice for Batman was Tom Hardy. I mean, this guy can basically play anyone but he does specifically well with darker characters. His Batman would be a more brutal version, similar to Ben Afflek's portrayal in BvS.
