Pretty accurate actually though Bumi really should have gotten first, I don't even consider it particularly close.

Looking back, I think Long Feng could have actually been a bit higher if we went off status/hype, like if he was as good or better than the non fodder Dai Li. But overall good list!

Great list. I think I agree with it for the most part. Toph vs Bumi was always gonna be the toss-up, though I agree with Toph at 1.

Since Toph and Azula won theirs by default Katara should win water and Aang has air obviously although a case can be made for Tenzin

Toph vs bumi was decided by just one vote , so, anything can happen.

@aystarr: I voted for Bumi thinking that I had to vote for the best earthbender. Only realised my mistake after voting and I couldn't change it back. So it was a draw

@aystarr: Yes but Azula won hers, and Aang will win his. It just makes sense for Katara to win, especially because she has shown the most water bending techniques and comparable raw power to the best in the verse

Plus I just like the idea of the 4 prodigies winning (Aang, Katara, Toph, and Azula)

Yeah, Katara's probably going to win the waterbending one unless you include bloodbenders, in which case it should be Amon or Yakone.

I bet Korra will win water bending, way too powerful and uses a variety of techniques, some of which Katara can't even do (like a water spout)

@bigdreamer48: Bloodbending is subtlety which isn’t directly applicable to waterbending. It’s like saying Ghazan is better at lava than all the earth benders so therefore he wins

@zr2011: not true. Katara can perform water spout in the comics and has done so while Sokka was standing with her. Unless you’re referring to just the show in which case I’d still say Katara has comparable power and way superior defense (with limited water she blocked comet enhanced lightning)

No, but it's gonna be this week, with everything going on rn (which I guess you are aware of) , I'm using most of my time online to participate in other stuff, it might come out sooner or later than planned but it's deffo gonna be this week.

@bigdreamer48: you’re incorrect. Blood bending resistance comes from water bending raw power. As stated and shown in the episode “the puppet master” Katara resisted Hama without knowing the technique (My bending is more powerful than yours Hama, your technique is useless on me), and the strongest person Amon blood bent was Book 1 Korra who is <<<<< Katara

There is no evidence he is a good enough water bender to affect Katara

@bigdreamer48: You’re forgetting that Katara also has a high altitude than Amon to both water and blood.

1) Amon has to train for years to even learn the technique, while Katara learned in minutes upon just hearing of the ability

2) Katara actually did blood bend without the full moon in the southern raiders (without any training which was essential for Amon). The full moon was shown to be out the day prior in “the southern raiders” and in “the puppet master” old man ding and Hama both stated that the full moon in their universe lasts exactly 1 night until the sun comes up. Katara blood bended the day after on screen without any training

3) Katara showcased more water bending power than anyone Amon has blood bended so him being able to affect a stronger water bender than book 1 Korra is a head canon especially considering Katara resisted blood without even knowing how to perform the ability.

4) Your point about Katara being amped when she resisted is not relevant because Hama was amped as well, and as I’ve already pointed out Katara has shown a higher aptitude to blood than even Amon
