Poll Morrison´s JLA vs Hickman´s Avengers (44 votes)
So this was pretty close
But what about the Avengers saga against the Morrison JLA run?
Which one do you liked better?

@undefined: avengers, captain universe solos
@the_living_tribunal_24: I'm pretty sure this ain't a battle. He's talking about the quality of the story. Which one do people think is better.
JLA. Morrison was more creative and epic with his stories and due to a smaller but rotating cast of characters, was able to showcase nearly everyone in his stories
JLA easy, peasy.
Avengers was great but Morrison stomps. Mismatch.
welp atleast the poll isn´t.
bump
This doesn’t really work imo, because as a grand total Hickman wrote 92 issues in his saga whereas Morrison only wrote 45 in a much different style. Now if you were to combine Morrison’s JLA, Seven Soldiers, Final Crisis and Multiversity it would fit alongside Hickman’s Avengers/New Avengers Erie’s really well. Both being massive in scope, multiple plot threads, impeccable characterization, insane feats, huge stakes, playing with respective multiverses etc. That’s just my opinion.
For what the poll asks I’d probably choose Morrison’s JLA run as for me it’s the quintessential superhero book and especially team book. Anyone who has the aspirations to write a team book or a superhero book should look at Morrison’s run on how to do it. Hickman’s saga is exceptional though.
