More Tragic Character - Dr Manhattan or Magneto?
Manhattan cheated on his wife and doesn't care about barely anything as his humanity is slowly striped away. The only tragedy with him is that he knows it and he can't stop it from happening.
Erik has literally been getting the short end of the stick since he was born as a double minority (both being a mutant and as a Jew/Gypsy, depending on what you see as canon for his backstory) so I feel like he has a lot more going for him in terms of tragedy than the latter.
@ready_4_madness: Any reasons why? Since you seem to be the only person siding with the good Doctor.
@skywalker95: Hey.
OT:
Dr. Manhattan is just some guy who gained extraordinary powers that caused him to become detached from humanity and subsequently become a major d*ck.
Magneto is not only a Jewish holocaust survivor but a mutant, in the MARVEL universe!
Not much more that I have to say.

Hey mate, nice to see you, it's been a while, how you been?
Nice reasons.
I too go with Dr. Manhattan as I think losing your connection to humankind while still needing to be as human is sadder. It’s the downside of immortality and some of what makes characters like Vandal Savage more interesting to me.
@skywalker95: Thanks, and good to see you to. I’ve been doing well, how about you?

I've been good too, just been working too much lately. Haven't seen you posting for a while, I thought you may have been taking a break or on holiday, so it's nice to see you again.
@skywalker95: him losing his humanity is a bigger deal than people realise. He’s lonely, no one can relate to him. Magneto Story is tragic but he still has a purpose, he still has/had Genosha, he has children etc. Dr Manhattan is powerful but it’s all meaningless.
Nice reasons. It's very close between them as to who's more tragic.

Hmmm This are some valid reasons. I never thought about him like that.
One is a victim of cosmic coincidence. Another is a victim of worst in humanity. What's more tragic do you think?
