More interesting rivalry: Superman vs. Lex Luthor or Mr. Fantastic vs. Doctor Doom?
Superman vs Lex is way more iconic. Plus, both Superman and Lex have infinitely better adaptations than Mr. Fantastic and Doctor Doom.
Reed vs Doom is a very interesting bout that always seems to change in how the relationship between them works depending on the era and the setting, as well as the evolution of the character, and that's a lot more fascinating than the same rivalry that ironically seemed to be the best written in Pre Crisis, lol. Lex v Sups is obviously very iconic as being a rip off of Sivana V Captain Marvel (it actually is, read up on it) but having read all of Reed vs Doom, I find it a lot more interesting.
Superman/Lex by far. I'm not even sure that the concept I'm voting for is strictly my own brainfart or not, but to me both represent different aspects of power in shall I say collective unconscious. One is a fantasy, "idealist" idea power, the other one is realist, "cynical" idea of power. It's actually one of the most fascinating rivalries in comics if you think about it that way.
The others guys are "FU I'm smarter than u, argh!!". Prof X/Magneto>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>this trash.
@adamtrmm: Great point.
Reed and Doom's antagonism is a bit ignoring really whereas Supes and Lex always had a influence when they collide even in teams.
