Mission Impossible: Fallout or Black Panther?

I prefer MI:F because BP was overrated.

It was so overrated that it even won Best Movie and Best Villain over Infinity War in the MTV awards. (Which is the same award that chose Twilight over The Dark Knight as Best Movie in 2008)

Haven't watch the new MI movie, but i like thrillers more than CBMs, and MI is one of those thriller movies with an actual production value.

And yes BP is overrated,

as a non-american myself, i couldn't relate to this American notion that the skin color of the casts is something that is deserving of a critical consideration.

Oh god. When BP becomes the first comic film to win the Oscar for best picture... The DC lovers gut pain will reach the heavens.

Well Oscar is overrated anyway, so I wouldn't be surprise.

As for the question both are good movies but I enjoyed MI6 more.

MI:F. Best one of the franchise IMO by a long shot.

Mission Impossible was an amazing film. The franchise keeps getting better. Black Panther is good but not the second coming of Christ that some make it out to be.

If that actually happens, then no Comic Book/Movie fan would watch the Oscars anymore, if BP wins Best Picture when Logan and TDK weren't even nominated, there will be hell to pay.

MI:F actually has a shot at Best Picture btw. it was that good.

1. The movie was great.

2. Not only did Nolan say it would be nominated but also said he knew and heard Marvel was going to throw BP an EPIC best picture campaign.

3. Get Out lost last year. Sad but true these awards shows are full of politics and BS. A lot of people thought black films got subbed. The Oscars will use BP to shut people up.

4. Two birds one stone. They can finally also shut up the comics crowd who's been crying for years that the Oscars were bias.

5. All the actors in the film and the director are Oscars nominated or winners. Choosing this film will make the Oscars look better. This is their people.

6. Get in bed with the king. They would love a chance to kiss Marvels ass.

Not a doubt in my mind this movie will win.

Well, Mission impossible didn't feel the need to point out that colonialism was a thing like every 20 minutes, so, that was cool.

I also just thought it was more enjoyable overall. So much to the point I am going to grow my own Cavill tier mustache.

Not a masterpiece but definitely one of the best action movies in the past decade.

MI:F by far.

A pure action movie with an amazing athletic performance by Tom Cruise

I never watched mission impossible movies but I hate them because theaters kept showing the damn lame trailer for it. Saw it both times I watched Black Panther, 2 more times with Infinity War, and another with Antman.

Even Mission Impossible 2 has better rewatchability than Black Panther, let alone MI:Fallout. Fallout's helicopter chase scene at the end was more enjoyable and high octane than the whole BP movie.

BP is one of the most overrated movies of this decade. A one time watch.

Hard to say, neither movie did anything to stand out for me. Like overall they were rather forgettable and just okay Summer Blockbusters. I'll give the edge to BP for Serkis as Klaw.

Both are overrated

The last 3 M:I films are all better than BP.

Probably because both of them got absurdly high 97% on RT which is very rare for action blockbuster.

Not that rare for a blockbuster to hit those ratings now.

Look at these people saying that BP was better. It was a good but overrated movie, compared to Mission Impossible which was amazing.

@blackyoda: the academy added a new category. I think it was called outstanding achievement in popular film or something along those lines. All superhero films will be jammed into that category
