I always assumed Gotham & Metropolis were close like that.

In the Animated series, Bruce had to fly to get to Metropolis

I prefer them more apart. Being that close takes away some of the whole angle between them being...Idk the word.

He compared them to Oakland and San Francisco, to be exact.

@saintwildcard: They were only 100 miles apart in TAS, so Bruce could've drove there in about 2 hours. That did seem like the perfect distance between the two, though.
