Thought I'd use my nifty wank-tracking skillz and take a crack at this.

The Arc Reactor of the Mk VI Iron Man suit has an output is above 10 gigawatts, or 10 gigajoules per second. Scaling off the Mk I's Arc Reactor, which has a 3 GW output and 15 minute duration, which was stated on-screen in the first Iron Man movie and only improved...

The total capacity of the Mk VI is 10 GJ/sec * 15 min * 60 sec/min = 9000 GJ = 9 TJ

Thor overloads the suit to 475%.

No Caption Provided

Now, this doesn't tell us much without assuming how full Tony was at the time.

Since Iron Man's RT was 63%, the answer to the question is clear.

475-63=412. The energy is 4.12 * 9 TJ = 37.08 TJ. 37.08 TJ * 1 kt/4.184 TJ = 8.86 kilotons

The power is 37.08 TJ * 1 TW/TJ/sec * 1/4.27 sec = 8.68 TW lightning which is 2.07 kilotons each second

In her God Mode, and Ares' lighting < Thor's lightning.

she amplified and concentrated the lightning what else could it be, it became much more powerful since it exploded and made a crater with molten substance/rocks

All she did was absorb it - there's nothing suggesting she did anything to amp the attack, her gauntlets are said to "catch" it, nothing more.

The reason the attack is of significance is cuz Ares lets loose all his power into it. And the destruction you referred to turned out to be from Ares exploding, not of the actual bolt itself. The bolt does blow a hole through him tho.

Here are the scans.

If she could have no-sold it, why block? Perhaps she knows what it can do to her, like at the beginning of the fight?

Not to mention that little to none of it is withstood by her. That's like saying Iron Man actually took the whole of the attack and didn't absorb all that energy within his suit for later lool

the difference is she envelops her body with divine lightning without affecting her

Yes but the energy to crater isn't taken by her. That's because it's expended making the crater

Impressive, especially because it's arguably not close to Thor's upper limit.

Unfortunately, I've rewatched Endgame/IW quite a few times and there's barely any HUD showings and most of them are too dark to properly see.

@cocacolaman: Overload lightning can be stronger due to improvements Iron Man suits/arc reactors to mk 85 and him charging Vision in A2

Remember this is assuming Mk VI Arc Reactor still only has 15 minutes duration and the lightning hit him for 4 seconds. Because it could be much higher since Mk VI should have much longer duration and the fight most likely didn't take place in real time, Thor is also weakened and holding back at that point.

Which means Thor in Thor 1 & The Dark World is like city level, and AoU Thor is large city/small mountain level. Phase 3 Thor should be anywhere between mountain to island level.

@a8612152: Thor holding back is the biggest part of all of this. There's a quote from the filmmakers on that specific fight that says that they had to find ways for Iron Man to stay in the fight because Thor would have killed him if he really wanted to.

Tony Stark is a reliable guy too, he made the thing. Dumping guidebook scans doesn't hurt. The guy who made the arc reactor in real life agrees that it got many times more powerful. So guidebooks, word of god, and in-universe characters are consistent.

Plus, I remember you taking a guidebook seriously for Superman's heat vision.
