Poll MCU Thor's durability tier (112 votes)

This is not up for debate. It was not only STATED that he would take "the full force if a star" by a dude who knows exactly how the forge operates but then proceeded to do it and completely got up after a few seconds.
Thor is far more durable than Superman, who gets hurt by bullets.

Asgard >>> frost giant and loki can tanked bullets.
Should bullet can't build damage to thor.
@chaoselement: Thor is level planet or no ?
@bayman007: Why ?
City level at max. Anything above that is wank.
Still above Superman, and let's face it, he is more durable than Cap who is universal.....

Nobody is more durable than Cap.

Nobody is more durable than Cap.
Except Thor
@andrew_____: the man speaks facts
@bayman007: Me?
@ubercoffeetime: The 3rd gif actually proves Thor has above average piercing durability, smh.
The net's effectiveness is unknown. It could like Superman getting hurt by Kryptonian energy blasts. Alien technology is often more effective than appearances would suggest.
Getting beaten up by Thanos is also not unimpressive. I get that you don't think Thanos is impressive though. Whatever.
No real need to comment on the pre-Ragnarok showings, although Thor took no real damage in any of them.
Overall, not very well thought out for a lowballing attempt.
@joker567892: Yep
Not star level unless you want to argue Thanos has star level punches and that would make Wanda > a star which just isn’t true at all
He’s about city level at best. Sokovia KO’ed him and that’s pretty consistent. Star feat is an outlier and whenever I see it used I laugh hysterically
@lan_fan: what are you talking about most still do...since it actually happened. Lol

Simply not true. The only people I regularly see claiming Thor is star level are Chugga and MinlerDemon (whose million alts are the reason the poll looks the way it is).
@lan_fan: admit some are over doing it for Sure

You went from most to some. No, I'd say very few people whom no one takes seriously. I ain't admitting shit, since I'm not wrong.
@emmafrostxmen: that feat is only an outlier if you think, Odin's and Bor's gifted strength can't compete with a star for 50 seconds. He prayed to them before it. It's not an outlier given he was an Inch close to death.
Thor is inconsistent at best, they show him tanking A which is a lot harder than tanking B, but then he's a pussy against B in another place. No character has perfect consistency I know, but Thor's case is ridiculous, but yea he's definitely not star level
@vrrzz: no funny thing is that Thor has not a single feat remotely close to the star feat. Wankers like to pretend he does. His second best durability feat is <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< the star feat. Thanos will always stomp him effortlessly, as shown in the movie. Thanos is not star level physically period

Head canon.

Those punches weren't even denting the rubble behind him. But I guess the punches are star-level, right?

He was bleeding and wheezing after a couple of hits from Ultron.
Why are you this triggered over fictional characters? Those nets were made of obedience disks and the disk depowers anyone in contact with it when activated.
Peace
@emmafrostxmen: He doesn't need to have a feat remotely close to the star feat, infact that's the entire point of the story and his character arc. Russos opened up about depicting that task as symbolically as the labours of Hercules. The journey of the hero to be tested beyond his limits and be reborn again. The scene is full of lore metaphors tbh.
If they have to give tier power ups to even the odds against Thanos, who else better than Thor, For others to have star level feats or a power up, the Marvel writers would have to give a very elaborate reason like Stark getting alien or magical help to withstand such temparatures etc etc..
but with Thor it's simple, he's a God, he directly comes from a lineage that exhibits tremendous history of power and ability to literally destroy worlds and house infinity stones. Mjolnir Hela ages ago was implied to be more menacing and powerful than any MCU Villain till date barring dormammu..
This is the the third time Thor has resurrected from a lifeless situation, he's just written as a God who is very hard to actually kill off so it's much easier for Marvel to justify Thor doing this, and Joe Russos also stated that not many people can perform the star feat, so it makes it less of an outlier when Marvel seems to have officially given him a tier up ..in light of all the life-changing events he has been through.
Plus another important thing to add is that he said "all fathers give me strength. They already showed how the all fathers were responsible for alerting earth through the Bifrost in the same narrative, so now Marvel even has a source of justifying his powerups.
City level to KO him as seen in Age of Ultron
Below Continental to kill him based off the Snap
Either way, it should be above Superman
@scipio123: there was nothing from juiced up buff Ultron if I recall, that sold him as a weak competent, nothing to fairly compare.. and besides it seemed like Thor was later waiting for Vision to chime in, if he really was in a helpless mood he wouldn't have smiled as if he was delivering a punchline but that's just my understanding but judging by all his feats overall he should be able to just judo flip Ultron in a logical scenario...
Using debris logic in endgame will drive you in circles bud, there's a hundred other details there that don't look right. If Thor is resisting the axe plunge with all his strength then the debris should also melt or cave in, scaling by his feats Thanos chokeslam to cap also didn't have much visible impact.. we both know if that scene was directed by Whedon or Zack Snyder the debris would have exploded.
@scipio123: just to be clear,.no those punches weren't star level lol, not even city level but they were pretty hard.
Thor looked better through hulk's and Kurse constant poundings, and crashing into sarkaar so I'm guessing they're topping both of these
