MCU Theory: THANOS is the REAL MANDARIN

I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out.

In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos clearly knows who Tony Stark is. Perhaps that means he's had contact with people on earth...which would also explain why people are always trying to take down Iron Man. In Marvel's one-shot "All Hail The King" it's revealed that there's a real Mandarin who is the leader of the Ten Rings organization that's been plaguing Iron Man since day one. The "Ten Rings" are artifacts in the comics that the Mandarin uses, which are very much similar to the Infinity Gauntlet's power stone. It is indeed possible that Thanos has had spies on earth who became the Ten Rings, similar to how he had contact with Loki.

It would be cool and makes a lot of sense but there are 6 stones so it doenst make sense for them to be called 10 rings. They should be called 6 rings.

I believe his knowledge of Stark came from The Other. He seemed to have at least a pretty good idea of what happened during the New York invasion. After all, Nick Fury did say that the Avengers would send a powerful message to the rest of the universe.

As for why he would have spies on Earth, why? He knew where the infinity stones were, or at the bare minimum he knew how to track them.

And why would Thanos care about Trevor Slattery? The real Mandarin was deeply offended by Trevor Slattery insulting his image. Why would Thanos care about something so petty if his entire organization existed only to research infinity stones?

No thanos is actually just an actor and the real thanos is just some scrub that tony used to pick on in high school

He knows who Stark is because he was the one that used the Nuke to take out the Chitari(Basically Thanos' forces) in the first Avengers movie.

I think that if they aren't gonna do anything with the Mandarin in the films (doesn't seem like it at this point) they should have him on the TV side as an Iron Fist or Heroes for Hire villain somewhere down the line, and change the lore so that the Mandarin is the father of Shang-Chi, not Fu Manchu.

They could possibly even have him be a mega-villain in an Agents, Defenders etc. team up in a crossover.

If he does show up in the films, having him as the villain in a Black Widow film could possibly work.

Not only is he Mandarin, he also went back in time and replaced Dr. Strange right before Strange got the time stone, which perfectly explains why Strange handed the time stone over to Thanos to spare a single life. It makes perfect sense. Then again, maybe not.

Thanos is really the Mandarin. The Ancient One is really Thanos. Grant Ward is alive and is really Namor. Howard Stark is alive and is really the Human Torch. Shades is secretly Nebula's biological father, Stan Lee's character was the original Black Panther, and Thor's roommate Darryl is Dr. Doom.
