Hulk measurement found via using hottoys figure and his height of 7'6''

Simplified to a cuboid, the volume of the rock is: 1,69*1,69*3,26 = 9.31 m^3

Low-end density = 1600 kg/m^3, high end density 3000 kg/m^3

Low-end mass = 14.9 tons, high end density = 27.9 tons

There seems to be low levels of ablation due to velocity. Ablation stops at 2-4 km/s. Assuming on-screen velocity is wrong, low-end velocity is 2 km/s and high end is 4 km/s. Edit: It might be a vapor/mach cone. For a true low end velocity i will use ~340 m/s

Low end kinetic energy (14.9 tons at 0.34 km/s) = 861 MJ

Mid end kinetic energy (27.9 tons at 2 km/s) = 55.8 GJ or 13.3 tons of TNT equivalent

High end kinetic energy (27.9 tons at 4 km/s) = 223.2 GJ

Force generated during the throw (assuming 1 meters of pushing distance and mid-end kinetic energy) = 55.8 GN or ~5.7 million tons. For generated assuming high end weight and vapor cone = 164.4k tons.

Edit: It might be a mach/vapor cone instead of ablation. I updated the low end based on that.

Nice feat. If this puts him above L&T Thor in strength, it'd make it somewhat clear that Smart Hulk received no nerfs in terms of stats, just savagery.

@gooeypotatoalt: I would agree, not in that it doesn't look stronger, because it could be a better feat, but that L&T Thor should be stronger. (Thanos ~ Hulk >~ Thor in strength, but then Thor worked out)

It's still good to see stuff like this, this and the rift She-Hulk creates. Planet Hulk or whatever is going down looks more and more promising by the day. Shaking the ground with a casual punch shows that they have a general idea of what real power looks like (real power as in crushing a car or lifting a decent rock isn't THAT impressive).

Does Spiderman/Hulkbuster scale from this I wonder?

WOG said Spiderman is almost Hulk level and Hulkbuster beat angriest version of Hulk so far in MCU

What about Thanos?

So MCU high tiers are multi million tonners? Who would have thought 🤔

Just waiting for Crunch to come and try to discredit the feat as an outlier...

@sirdragonfly: Hulk is and will always be physically stronger, physical strength is his thing, but Thor is the better fighter and has his lightning/weapons.

Really curious to know how you got a velocity of 2km/s when the rock didn't even cover a 400m distance before it was disintegrated. Also using the volume of a sphere would be better instead of assumed it's a cuboid. Where's your time frame for how long it took to reach its top velocity?

I based it on heating. It is possible it was going slower and that was just an effect they added to look nice. Its not close to being spherical tho. Timeframe would be distance of acceleration/( final velocity/2) or 1/1000 or 0.001 seconds.

@nwname: I do not know if this is his true strength TBH. He seemed pretty casually suggesting he could do this to a much heavier rock. Good calc nonetheless.

He seemingly does this to prove his strength after getting his casual toss upped and grunts/screams doing it so i don't think its casual.

Nope, the Bifrost feat is still the best MCU strength feat but due to this being casual definitely means he’ll likely be a contender.

Hopefully Hulk shows out in this series. Hype to see it, despite me being a massive fan of his og rival lol.⚡️

(We coming back soon so I welcome all boosts before then⚡️).

@nwname: it took 9 frames for the boulder to cross a distance of 10 meters which means its velocity was 27.7777777778m/s in 0.36seconds.(the video runs at 25fps)

That's an acceleration of 77.16m/s^2.

Using that and multiplying it by the weight of the rock which I calculated to weigh 29.2 tons(used the volume of a capsule and your values of its height and width)

That's a force of 2,043,166.8888382 newtons

208345.0402368 kilograms.

229.7 tons.

Not far from my guess of 277 tons

"I based it on heating."

Hmmmm. I mean. If you based it on the fact that the rock started to heat up that's a speed of 6000km/h

1666.667 m/s .

KE

(0.5*26,479.612348862)1666.667^(2)

=36 821 400 020.197 joules

= 8.8 tons of tnt

Hulk's lifting strength

It took 14 frames for the boulder to start heating up

Meaning the boulder reached those speeds in about 0.52 seconds so thats a speed of 3 205.1288461538m/s in 0.52 seconds.

Acceleration = 6 164m/s

Force = 26,479.612348862kg(29.2tons)*6 164m/s^2

= 163220330.518385 newtons

=16 643 841.731721kg

= 18 346.7 metric tons

How'd you get 55.8 giga newtons? That's the part I don't get

What? Bifrost is a few tons at best based on what we saw. This is million times better.

10 meters seems like extreme lowball even for on screen velocity.

There is no way the boulder keeps accelerating after leaving Hulks hand, hes not using the force or something to push it. 1 meters is all the distance he has to accelerate.

Sooo this somehow leads to 55.8giganewtons?
