With Jessica Jones Season 2 on our doorstep, I thought it would be useful to make a general discussion thread for all things MCU Netflix.

Best comic tv shows ever. Even Ironfist is far better then the rest.

No love for the Punisher? I thought Punisher S1 was better than expected. Can't wait for what S2 will bring!

It's been a steady fall after DD S1... There were some ups, but it's still falling.

Don't know if this is derailing the thread or not, but anyone else want to see a Moon Knight series?

This has probably been said since DD S1, but I feel as though the Netflix world is missing that noir element, it's like a niche for Marc.

Definitely seems like we're getting a full LC trailer after JJ based on Colter's tweets.

He's implying the full trailer is very close, and they've had clips after shows before (Daredevil Season 2).

Here is my personal rating of all the Netflix shows.

Daredevil-Amazing. It's all but completely perfect.

The Punisher-Also amazing. Not as amazing as Daredevil, but still great.

The Defenders-Great. Way better than people give it credit for. In terms of shear fun, I think it's the best on this entire list. Not the best overall (that is easily Daredevil due to writing) but the most fun.

Iron Fist-Even though most hated it, I'd actually say it's pretty good. But that might be because I'm biased towards anything about martial arts.

Luke Cage-Honestly, boring. My biggest problem was that Luke was so dang invincible that none of his fight scenes were interesting until he fought Diamondback.

Jessica Jones-Honestly, boring. It had a good villain, but that's about all I have to say.

Damn didn't even realise JJ S2 was out this soon that's crazy

I've really enjoyed them overall. Iron Fist wasn't great but I at least liked all the other shows and I loved Daredevil and Luke Cage.

Soooooon.

The only thing that will bring me Netflix hype again is Daredevil season 3

I am about to watch it now. I loved season 1 and Killgrave.

Got 1 episode in before classes

The premiere really grabbed me in, I can totally see the direction this season is going to take and I'm all in.

Netflix needs to stop being cheap with these shows and spend more money. I’m sure they aren’t because they are scared Disney will take the shows away and put them on Hulu once their Fox Deal goes through...

JJ Episode 1 of season 2 is phenomenal! My favorite comic TV show easily.

@rogueshadow: The Raft (apparently) being common knowledge and Jessica's accident happening 17 years ago means that JJS2 takes place in the Summer of 2017. Which is nice that we have a confirmed date and that the Netflix shows are within the same timeframe of the movies.

As for Jeri, I honestly couldn't care less about her plot, or mostly everyone else's arc for that matter.

@angeljax: Which makes me want the timeline Feige promised even more to see how Homecoming's "8 years later" works and if Loeb is even considering it. Only character I've had zero interest in thus far was Griffin, and Oscar needs to go away because JJ/LC needs to happen.

@rogueshadow: Malcolm and Jessica were treats to see again but tbh even Jessica was kinda hard to watch at times this season. Not because of her character though, she's just been through a lot. Like way too much.

Trish took a nosedive though and I'm not sure how I feel about her development going forward.

Overall, this season left me feeling very conflicted.

@rogueshadow: S2 lacks a message to tell the way S1 did. And as a result there's no clear sense of direction. The story and arcs are ambitious, they just have a severe lack of drive or clarity.

3 episodes in, not really liking it. The Jeri sub plot is completely pointless and unnecessary, so is the whole Jessica vs That Mexican dude + the landlord. The pointless Sex is also adding nothing to the plot. There is no clear indication as to we're they're headed with the characters.
