The star seems to decently flare up. Here are some numbers on stellar flares (neutron star/sun)
MCU Infinity War: How good is the star's flare?
Dang thats pretty cool.
Yeah this star seems to have very powerful output

Always has imo...the whole thing is very impressive....up in the exponential ergs range.
The assumptions that paper don't fit what we see at all
Even if we called that a solar flare accepting it had a gravity of a bit over 380 billion Gs or that it was 2 billion Kelvin and that it fit the other assumptions doesn't make sense
I think there's some suspension of disbelief/artificial gravity with dyson spheres since humans work on them and stuff. Maybe the device around the star negates its gravity?
I still don't know what's up with rings, if that is star gravity or more gravity magic. This must be the case with Nidavellir since the orbiting rings have zero G environments

If it negates the gravity this still becomes irrelevant for Nidavellir.
@rajjarsalt: is the beam > flare
@rajjarsalt: is the beam > flare
Ye concentrated output of that star would be GOAT

but that's surface gravity tho. Negating gravity on a surface far away from the stars own surface would be irrelevant as well

Exposed surface didnt pull in anything either and gravity (tech)magically vanishing from surface onwards would also break this. Wdym by the second part?

Fair point the surface exposed didn't pull anything, but outside of Thor, what exactly would it have pulled? The structure designed to contain it?
I meant that the rings themselves had zero-G
It is powerful enough to Vaporize the Dceu verse.
if they're durable as Groot or Eitri they could at least tank it
It is powerful enough to Vaporize the Dceu verse.
if they're durable as Groot or Eitri they could at least tank it
All it means is that it was less concentrated on Groot/Rocket Racoon then it was on Thor Odinson.
Also you know I like you but let's not stoop to that level.
You don't see me dismissing 3.5 Million K Heat Vision even though it did not destroy anything in the vicinity etc and some other anti feats I am sure you are aware of.

They are at the rings including Thor and nothing happened to them.

This is casual argument, don't make it personal.

There are heat based beams that's more potent than 3.5 million kelvin in many fiction and they disregarded that logic, science doesn't always occur in fiction and you know that. There's no anti-feats, kryptonians can control the intensity of their heat vision and it was proven in the comics.

1. Yeah but they obviously weren't hit with the Full Brunt of the attack.
Thor was considering he was the one opening the rings.
2. Okay sorry if I offended you.
3. Good point.
But my point above still stands.
Also just watched the scene.
They weren't where Thor was.
He was at the place where the Full Rays/Solar Flare of the Neutron star are at their highest.
Also the Spheres seem to have some weird properties which allocates the Ray's into a singular point.
Which is why Eitri said he will be taking the full force of the star.
And also why he probably never got incinerated when Forging Materials like Uru.
So yeah.
I will agree.
If the Dceu Heavy Hitters.
Are in the sidelines where Groot/Rocket Racoon are.
They will survive I guess lol.
But if they are at the place where the Dystopian rings are and are subjected to the full force of the star like Thor was.
None of them are surviving.
Period.
@legend531: Thor is alongside with Racoon when they pulled the rings, they are at a ring. Eitri is also at a ring and is exposed to the 'flare' as you can see here.

Did you read what I said above?
@legend531: You said they weren't where Thor was, but they were. Raccoon and Eitri are just as exposed as Thor.
@legend531: We were talking about the flare, not the beam right?
@legend531: We were talking about the flare, not the beam right?
No?
I think I am confused lol😂😂.
Well we were I guess.
Yeah and I did say the JL Could take the residual flare Eitri and Co. Withstood.
@legend531: We'll, I got mislead by your first comment because the topic of the thread is the flare. I'd still disagree on that anyway.

Not really check here:

That doesn't seem like they are at the place where Thor was.
Also inb4 we continue.
You were arguing that they are at the area where the Dystopian rings are right?
Cause I don't wanna strawman or misinterpret what you said.

What I mean there is when they moved the rings and the flare happened, not at the time when Thor opened the lid and takes the beam.
I was talking about the moving the rings/flare scene the whole time, I don't know why you brought up the beam scene.

Except Kryptonians are a thing. Sure everyone else dies but supes and most likely other Kryptonians survive mostly because they draw their power from sunlight and as far as I can tell, the forge either uses a white dwarf or a neutron star - not the dying red giant that Krypton is associated with.
Did that legend531 guy seriously say that if the DCEU high tiers are where Rocket and Groot were "I guess they would survive"
So now even Groot/RR are being compared to DCEU high tiers
No, not only are they being compared, it's to the point where something that does'nt bother Groot/RR is questionable rather DCEU high tiers can survive it, lmfao
First it was Spidey being compared to DIiana and Arthur now it's Rocket and Groot compared to SM/Zod/Doomsday
Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru
@johndeyvido: "You're already dead"
It's a popular anime phrase but most know it from Fist Of Thr North Star

Smh why the strawman?
Where in my comment did I insinuate Groot and Rocket Racoon are comparable to Dceu Heavy Hitters?
Please don't be a dick.
Thank you🙃
@legend531: It's not a strawman, i literally repeated what you said word for word
