MCU: In your opinion who would make the same decision that Widow made out of the Defenders? (Endgame Spoilers)

Don't really see Jessica doing it. Everyone else probably would.

Matt would because well...... he's Matt.

Frank probably would, Ronin Clint was basically Frank in the movie.

Jessica would, we can see she clearly blames herself for a lot of things and believes she only makes peoples lives worse, this would be her chance of redemption.

Luke would tank the fall, so he obviously wouldn't.

I don't see Danny having any reason to, he has a great life. Though he might.

I think Rand and Luke would both do it.

Frank wouldn't. Matt and Luke would. Danny probably would too. I can picture Jessica doing it. We haven't really seeing them going for stakes like those, nothing's certain.

@amcu: Here’s the thing. Her sacrifice is straight up suicide. She’s not dying in battle. Even Dr. Strange says suggests that if he told Ironman about the sacrifice he makes it won’t happen. Meaning Ironman May think too long about the choice or may decide to try something else.

I could see Jessica saying no as she’s super cynical and selfish.

I don't think Frank cares about the world. And he's certainly not a hero.

Honestly I never considered the exchange for the Soul Stone physical. I'm actually very surprised that I haven't seen anyone else with the same opinion around here. It looks to me like when you fall off the mountain, you've made the sacrifice. Like if Thor and the Hulk were to retrieve the stone they wouldn't be able to do it cause they're too.... strong? I don't even think the height would be enough to kill Gamora by physical means.

As a joke, the Luke statement is 10/10 though.

How is she selfish? Just because she has a different personality doesn’t mean she’s selfish. If she was then she wouldnt have stopped Kilgrave from getting hope and she wouldnt have stopped Malcolm from being a drug addict.

If they know its the only way that I don't see how they don't make the sacrifice. Yes its suicide and its not an easy choose for most people. But for a superhero, saving half the universe is going to be enough of an incentive to die. Infact I could imagine a lot of people dying to change the snap and bring back family members and loved ones.

The only thing that matters is if they believe that's the only way. And if they do they'll do the same thing Natasha did.

I think everyone would try and find another way. But once they realize there is none, would they really just walk away and ruin the chances of bringing half the population of the universe back?

@subline: Danny does it because he's just that nice. Especially S2 Danny.

Matt definitely would. I can see Frank and Danny doing it if it fell to them. Luke would likely survive and Jessica I just can't see doing.
