MCU: If the Eternals had intervened in Infinity War against Thanos, would they have defeated him?

And as a bonus question

Could the Eternals at least rival a 5 or 6 stone Thanos?

I'm simply replacing the Avengers with Eternals during their encounters with Thanos... and thinking the Eternals would've actually won in those same scenarios.

If we add the Eternals to the AvT fight, I think it would depend on if Thanos knew the Eternals would be involved. ... He seems to improvise fairly well tho!

He’s way too fast for Thanos, he wouldn’t even be able to tag him. He statues and destroys him with either his island level bullrush or his HV that melted/tore apart a ship that tanked the sun’s temperatures. Ikaris stomps Thanos unless he has the stones.

I suspect Thanos would be written to win. He's the unstoppable big bad.

Also, Thanos can easily tank his heat vision. We saw much weaker Eternals tanking it. Also, Thanos can definitely react to him. CM’s photon blasts are light speed. Along with this, Thanos is definitely stronger. That is Thanos’s power. Strength just like Gilgamesh, but stronger. He is considerably stronger than the Deviants who were on par with Icarus. Also, he should be able to tank Icarus’s bullrush as he is significantly more durable than a half Celestial.

The deviants weren’t on par with him lmao. He was confirmed jobbing against them because he was pretending to be on the Eternals side. He said he used the Deviants to buy time for the Celestials.

Highly doubt he could tank a large island level bullrush…or HV that tore apart a ship that can tank the Sun’s temperatures.

So what? Actor’s opinions never meant anything and never will. They have no say on MCU canon.

It would have been very interesting if the eternals happened before, they could have set him up as an eternal too and add a little more depth to him. A 10v1 would be fun too and help lend crence to the baldie hype

If they get added to the Avengers? Sure. On their own? No chance. Ikaris being a Superman ripoff doesn't actually make him that strong. His showings in Eternals aren't even impressive, and the rest of the team would be fodder.
