This is just false. He does ridiculous things sometimes but in actuality he does not even compare to Comic Batman, let alone Comic Captain America.

@jayc1324: consistent comic Cap is more OP then MCU Cap. What evidence is there for this?

Everything else would go to 616; strikes, skill, speed, etc.

Maybe in Strength(non striking feats).

Excuse me, sir.

I don't think that's true.

Also, even if Cap is stronger (which I highly doubt), 616 Cap considerably outclasses him in every other category: durability, speed, agility, intellect, enhanced senses, and fighting skill.

That feat has been calculated to be barely above 1000 lbs. Not impressive at all

But this is way beyond anything MCU Cap has ever done :

Has been calculated to weigh up to 10 tons
Has been calculated to weigh up to 10 tons

No, not even close. The only area which he does come close to his 616 is lifting strength.

I kind of think MCU cap has more consistent lifting feats. The above scan is impressive but I think there is a difference between lifting and supporting weight. While I wouldn't be surprised if supporting that pillar is a 10 ton feat its pretty clear 616 isn't meant to be a 10 tonner....

All though in terms of everything else MCU cap is outclassed.

@jedixman: @ldm: 10 Ton Feats don’t seem like 616 Caps normal consisent strength level. I think MCU’s non striking strength feats are better and more consistent. Also as Jashro pointed out in that particular scan Cap is using leverage to support the weight, he’s not deadlifting it and picking it up.

@mickey-mouse: I mean saying a live action character has more consistent feats is a pretty weak argument when the reason for it is that he has vastly fewer appearances.

@mickey-mouse: The type of leverage he was using barely if not didn’t help at all, because the pillar is buried in the ground, meaning that there is no fulcrum and he would have to rip it from the ground together with the rest of the pillar before lifting it over his head, making it even more impressive. Also, the picture clearly depicts him lifting the pillar to save the child, if he only has to support from the get go then the kid would have more than enough time to get out himself. Not to mention the fact that the angle he was it means that he would have to be lifting at least 70% of the weight, and he does it with ease. Now I am not saying this is consistent (he still has some others that put him at 3-5 tons level ) but don’t try to lowball the actual impressiveness of the feat

He is arguably better in raw lifting strength, but heavily outclassed in everything else

616 Cap is better in every way, including lifting strenght. The helicopter feat was accurately calculated where Cap was pulling 3000lbs or 1,5 tons. At most MCU Cap has strenght worth of 1,5 tons. 616 Cap is stronger than that. He's also got a better shield, speed, agility, durability, etc.

@amendment50: That’s the logic of any character with fewer appearances. The longer you have more appearance the more you’re likely to develop certain inconsistencies.

As far as adaptive counterparts go, I think MCU is probably the closest to his comic self. Honestly, most of the feats that drastically sets them apart are mostly outliers that don't occur all that often in 616's actual battles.

Comic cap is faster though.

Hell nah. MCU Cap might have an advantage in lifting strength, but that's about it
