A whisper is around 40db, and shouting is 110db. Decibels are based on a logatithmic scale therefore a 70db increase equals a 10000000x increase in sound intensity.

Energy to vaporize a human:

311,391,675 Joules/7seconds * 10000000= 4.448e14J(Large Town level)

That is without taking into account the amount of rock that Black Bolt destroyed, which is hard to quantify because it's not shown clearly, but the feat could easily be twice as good as this simple calc suggests.

I don't think it took Black Bolt 7 seconds to kill Strange. It took him 7 seconds to disintegrate him. He was probably dead long before that.

There might be a difference in the energy to vaporize versus disintegrate since the energy value is vaporize from heat I believe and this is not vaporizing Strange from heat. Could be different. It’s probably good enough. Seems strange to me that it took 7 seconds to disintegrate him I feel like it should have been faster, but that’s just me.
