So what do you guys think of Iron Man 3's villain, Aldrich Killian? Was he a good and well thought out villain? Or was he a lame, poorly developed villain more or less simply there for the plot? Where does he stack up against the other MCU villains in terms of quality?
MCU Aldrich Killian: Good or Bad Villain?
Would have been good if we didn't have the Mandarin "twist." He should have been the main villain all along.

I liked him. He's not up there with Loki, Winter Soldier, or Kingpin, but I liked him more than say Red Skull, Malekith, or Ronan the Accuser. Honestly, my biggest issue with him actually had nothing to do with his character. I was one of those people who saw Ben Kingsley dressed as Mandarin and got excited because I know he's a great actor and he really looked the part. I was disappointed when his role turns out to be just an actor, but Killian was still good.
He got voted worst MCU villain on this site. That should tell you something about overall consensus. Oh well.
He's a fine villain, imo.
He was terrible. They essentially did the Incredibles with him. Unoriginal and his personality was annoying too.
I personally didn't like him much, he doesn't have much of a development, IIRC he made trope villain mistakes, and overall felt he was there just to give Tony a fight.
Up to now, IMO the only good villains were Loki and Winter Soldier, if you count AoS Ward is very good too (though he is starting to be saved by PIS, which is gonna undermine him)
Not bad, not good. Somewhere in the middle. So, basically he was Meh.

@rukelnikovftw: I feel like Ward has so much potential as a villain it's ridiculous. But the show doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to utilize him in that role effectively, unfortunately.
Worst villain, played by a mediocore actor. Best we forget about IM3 as a whole. Reeks worse than an aged piece of cheese stuck to a pig's anus.

I think part of the problem is, they are still thinking of ways for him to have to work with SHIELD despite their differences as happened near the end of Season 2, thus he can't do anything over the top or that kind of "truces" are gonna be harder to pull off.
