I do hope this isn't the final result for Taskmaster. Looks like an in between of the concept art and the leaked set photo - really needs to be just the concept art.
The entire concept of this film looks grittier than the usual MCU looking at the settings and the action. But that (probably) Siberia black OPs battle looks fire.
Really hoping for some bomb ass action scenes and a darker plot.
My main concern is the timeline. Let's hope this movie makes sense and if it does I hope the characters we see in this movie appear in the MCU and are not forgotten.
Other than that visually the movie looks a lil weird but I'm guessing that be fixed before the movie comes out. eg - Widow's white suit looks unrealistically white (dope in a sense), the CGI looks unfinished in tons of scenes (the final dive scene looked laughably bad) etc.
Meh, don't like the over-the-top action sequence at the end, was hoping for a more grounded approach.
Red Guardian as comic relief doesn't work in this setting.
And Melina being a part of their group is just wrong.
Marvel being Marvel. Why not make a movie without the CGI-heavy action and the obligatory humor? Black Widow would have been the perfect character for a more gritty, realistic and dark tone. Instead it looks like it'll be just another generic MCU movie.

My thoughts exactly. The first 70 seconds of the trailer looked great, and then it just dialled up the ridiculous to 100%.
@wolverinebatmanftw: I’m not on the same page. i get where u r coming from, but for me, that over the top action is still hand to hand and very physical. There was only one joke and I thought it was well done. What separates wick from widow is that widow is a literal superhero, they operate at different levels and scales, as they should.
@zr2011: Fair enough I guess but I'm just getting sick of the same old MCU formula, and the first minute or so of this trailer looked different... and then it all looked the same again
@zr2011: The hand to hand scenes are not the problem, I don't like that jump from that bridge and avoiding all that wreckage in flight, that looks like it's been taken from a Fast & Furious movie.
Thinking about it, Tony is probably like that for a high speed car chase sequence. Makes sense he wouldn't have his hoody on in that scene. I think that's what feels off - that big round helmet w/o the hood/cape on. So probably won't be an issue.
Awesome. This and Bond are the trailers I was excited for this month. WW is gonna be very lovey-dovey with Trevor so I am no longer looking forward to it
Yeah, I'm gonna pass on this one. It looks exactly like the same action movie I've already seen 20 times. Not to mention that I still think a Black Widow movie is unnecessary in the first place.
This neither raises or lowers my excitement for the movie. Pretty much what I was expecting. I'm going to see it either way unless it's a critical disaster.
Looks far better than I expected. Honestly, I thought we’d see something closer to Red Sparrow, but this looks closer to Captain America Winter Soldier. I have higher hopes for this now. It looks like it will have some humor. I really hope they explain Nat’s American accent.
@Penguin-Dust: Well, she's a great spy and thus she's good at putting up an American accent. It's the same in the comics, where she doesn't have a Russian accent whereas Yelena does. I guess it's a way for them to show that Nat is simply the better spy of the two.
@chicago_bastard: Yes, but wouldn’t everyone be speaking Russian, so wouldn’t they all have Russian accents to infer that they’re speaking Russian or none of them would because to each other’s ears their native tongue wouldn’t have an accent? That is unless Nat now speaks Russian with an American accent.
Meh! looks like just another predictable formulaic CGI fest that is a couple of years too late in its theatrical release. Feels like Marvel dug up a grave to print some extra money which probably isn't gonna be much anyway cuz I don't think the movie has half the appeal of other future Marvel projects.
I'd have rather preferred an intricate, espionage thriller blended with politics like TWS that stays grounded in most parts with slick martial arts.
Looks great and exactly how a Black Widow movie should look
The fight scene appear to have amazing choreography from what I’ve read (comic con scene) and have seen in the trailer. It’s very precise and more technical that what has typically been in the mcu. The disarming, the similar training leading to a stalemate, very cool overall
