Welcome to the Marvel Dracula Respect Thread. Here is also a Link to both the Morbius the Living Vampire, Franken-Castle, and the Werewolf by Night threads. I always been into this character, one of the best Dracula incarnations known. However I been foiled time and again reading material with him in it! Till recently I got hold of some damn good chunk of all things Dracula. Now after spending a week pouring over the material, it is time to give the Lord of Vampires the respect he deserves.
Vlad the Impaler was a warlord, a general, and one of the finest warriors in his day until that is when he died. In death he found new power from the Hell Lords themselves. He became the Lord of Vampires, and continues to rule his vampire kingdoms across the planet.
A older Bio, but very detailed in history.
For some of the battles below, Dracula has way more power than normal. Dracula power and strength is relative to how well fed he is, and what he has fed on. When drinking the blood of Apocalypse, or Lady Sif will have Dracula with far more powerful stats abd abilities than normal. Like wise a hungry Dracula is weaker.
Lets touch on Dracula's strength. There is not many showing for it truth be told. Quantifiable feats anyway. He is stated in bio to have the strength of 20 men, though vague as that is. Here is some strength feat comparisons though.
Dracula breaks in half easy Blade's durable sword.
One shots both Darkhawk and Hellcat at the same time.
Blade is regularly slapped around.
Morbius is easily overpowered.
Rips apart Deadpool with ease.
Rips off the head of his son, a most powerful Vampire, and more durable than the average Vamp.
Both encounter throws Colossus himself with great force. No amp was stated or shown for this.
Dracula one shots a castle door built to withstand battering rams.
Dracula Here is able to kick down a steel vault door with ease.
Dracula while weaken from the Garlic, Holy Water gas still one punches his way out of a steel lift.
Dracula as a Vampire is one durable being. As Lord of the Vampires, he is more so.
Dracula is hit with straight lightning till he catches on fire. No effect.
Dracula takes a full enraged lightning blast from Storm, and shrugs it off fine.
Hit with sonic waves that liquefy human beings easy. In lots of pain, but his body holds firm.
Here Dracula tanks a large explosion that would kill over an hundred humans easy, but only injures Dracula.
Dracula is set on fire by a holy cross, and unable to heal the damage. Then he is shot dozens of times with exploding wood bullets that shred his face, skull, and body. Then stabbed by the Teal Wood knife of Blade over and over. All of this is specific damage Dracula is weak too, and he tanks all these attacks to keep chugging for the fight. Beating Blade again easy after all this.
Captain Britain full force punches Dracula in the face in anger and rage, but Dracula remains un faze when he gets right back up.
The more powerful amped Nul Hulk slams Dracula and his forces with a single strike. This strike kills all the vampires from the force, but Dracula who recovers in a few panels, as if nothing happen.
The Golden Angel is Dracula's son merge with the soul of a angel. Blasting Dracula with holy light attacks that burn Dracula. Even though weak to holy attacks, Dracula tank these blast after blast while fighting on till Dracula eventually won.
Dracula as a Vampire is DAMN fast. He makes people like Blade and Wolverine look slow at times.
Stated Faster than the human eye can see.
Multiple times Dracula at point blank range has reacted and change forms from Crossbows, and Arrows.
Dracula moves as a blur at running speeds. outpacing the explosions.
Dracula in bat form dodges multiple lightning strikes aimed at him by another supernatural power.
Blitzes Werewolf by Night. Leaving an after image.
In all these scans, Deadpool was hopelessly outclass in speed. Blitzed easy as Dracula left behind after images.
Dracula here reacts and beats Spitfire. Spitfire was a speedster mutant who gain even faster speed as an Vampire, and Dracula matches her speed and beats her fine.
Lets touch on one of Dracula's greatest assets. The guy is pretty damn immortal, and for all intents and purpose a better healer than even say Deadpool. One of his best attributes is healing any and all damage not cause by one of his weaknesses.
While not Dracula's own feat, Spitfire here shows how good Vampire healing is. She has no healing factor other than her Vampire abilities here, and literally falls from orbit, survives in near skeleton form, and then regens fine in two pages. Whats best is Dracula's own healing is stated superior to any other Vampire. Just for comparison.
Various feats of bullets and gunfire having no effect. with the damage healed as soon it happens. Including guns shots to the skull.
Various feats of healing from states of death, or damage. Even as far reforming from bones, reforming from the fires that burn away the plane and bodies, and even having his head reattach fine in seconds.
Dracula has the ability to manipulate the weather in his vicinity. This includes storms, wind, and lightning as forms of attacks.
Manipulates this snow storm for cover. Generates powerful storm clouds and raging winds.
Dracula summons a storm that generates tidal waves and knocks around a ship at sea.
Generates winds that can even knock around Silver Surfer in scan 2.
Matches Thor's own control of the elements.
Uses Lightning itself as a tool to attack foes, and kill foes. Scan 1 he uses it to kill a priest with a cross. Scan 2 to strike another Vampire. Scan 3 to split of Helsing and Apocalypse. Scan 4 to chain attack Nightcrawler the whole fight. Scan 5 shows the lightning that hit his son Janus had the power to blow into pieces large trees.
Hypnotism and Telepathy
Dracula has effective hypnotism with his eyes, as well telepathy that comes with it. He also has abilities and control over other vampires via telepathy.
With a look he can turn you into a slave.
Anyone under his hypnotism or vampirism bites has a psychic connection to him. Dracula likewise can hear and see what they do.
In a battle Dracula can use this in many ways. Scan 1 shows Dracula hypnotizing a woman to his will. Scan 2 has Dracula forcing a biker gang to kill themselves. Scan 3 he orders a mob to kill each other. Scan 4-5 is Dracula hypnotizing children to attack his enemies. Scan 6 shows Dracula resorting to hypnotism on a crowd of people to go crazy on each other in the middle of a fight with the Golden Angel.
Dracula can also use this ability on beings with powerful mental resistance. This includes depowering Shiklah in a fight in scan 1. Scan 2 and 3 has Dracula not once but twice mentally trick and hypnotize Dr Strange. Scan 4 is him making Silver Surfer see illusions.
Add to the Hypnotism, Dracula is able to mentally control any being he has personally bitten other than Blade and other vampires. This included characters like Storm and Asgardians like Sif. Even Wolverine and Apocalypse who have incredible mental resistance.
For resistance feats of resistance against TP, we have some good examples.
The Vampire name Raizo Kodo, who is inferior to Dracula himself in all things like every other Vampire, shows us Vampires that live long enough can stall people of Pyslock's level for a lengthy time.
A great showing of resistance for Vlad is when a powerful supernatural being, who can make the desires and wishes of anyone a reality in their minds. This illusion was flat out saw through as the illusion it was, and broken by Dracula.
No feat is better than when Dr Strange himself tried to subdue, and beat Dracula via mental attacks, only for Dracula to snap out of it fine, and counter.
Dracula has the power to bats, rats, and wolves from nowhere. He has also shown the ability to summon lesser demons, and the dead too to fight for him.
Scan 1 has Dracula summoning bats, rats, and even wolves where none exist in Central Park to attack the X-Men. Summons enough Rats to cause Thor annoyance. Summons enough rats to annoy Silver Surfer. Summons enough wolves, bats and rats to topple over Apocalypse.
Summons various animals to attack.
Summons lesser demons from hell to attack.
Summons the dead in graveyards as zombies.
Bat and Wolf Forms
Not much to be said here. Dracula can achieve flight in bat, or man bat forms, as well attack foes in a dire wolf state too.
Bat and Wolf forms. Able to fight and switch between forms in fights with ease.
Dracula can also transform into a intangible, and useful mist form which he uses as transport, to by pass obstacles, spy on others, or to counter attack foes.
Uses Mist to pass through doors.
Uses mist form to by pass walls and spy on others during conversation.
Uses Mist to fly to a club, enter it notice, and materialize in attack.
Various uses of the mist in fights. Scans 1-2 he uses it to let wooden stakes by pass him. Scan 3-4 shows how Dracula uses it to let to avoid damage, and then counter attack. Scan 5 shows how even Apocalypse is unable to harm Dracula if Dracula does not wish it.
Claws and Fangs
A common natural weapon for Dracula when not using his sword. The claws and fangs allow for cutting damage, or control of a foe.
Various feats of the claws in action.
Its also common for Dracula to devour the blood of a foe in combat to replenish strength.
Bites Wolverine in mid battle to use him against the other attacking X-Men.
Dracula as a vampire has heighten senses across the board.
Animal keen senses.
States he can sense even the foot steps of insects.
Takes out the Invisible Woman with ease. Targeting her heart with accuracy.
Dracula has some damn good combat skill. While his Bio rates him as a 3, he is a master swordsmen, and proven fighter of his time as a human as Vlad the Impaler.
A lot can be said about him here.
Wisdom who leads the British superheros states Dracula is one of the most tactical geniuses of the time.
Multiple showings of his skill in human form with injuries against people trying to kill him. None of his Vampire powers, just relying on his human skill.
Disarms Black Knight himself in a sword duel, and mortally wounds him in 3 moves. One of the top swordsmen in Marvel.
It should be brought up that the only thing to help negate his healing factor is the very specific items or methods mention here.
One major weakness is holy items. However the catch is said holy item, or sign must existed in Dracula's time frame. Also said person using it must have faith in said item, or sign. Examples above.
Hunger is another weakness. he needs to feed or he will weaken and wither away though he would not die.
Silver and Wood are the only ways to cause lasting damage as well. While these wounds heal too, they heal much slower and cause more pain.
Garlic is helpful as it prevents Dracula changing forms, and acts as a strong deterrent to him.
Not a complete collection, but a decent collection of Dracula's fights vs heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe over the years to admire.

However, the possessed vampire and Blade could not utilize Blade's skill to the fullest at all, and Dracula beats him handily.
Well later into the 90s, Blade now has his stronger Vampire abilities, and still gets rekt by a mentally off his game Dracula.

It only applied to his youth and true immortality, which Dracula's body rejected anyway as stated in Scans 1 and Scan 12. Under his own power, Dracula matches Thor fine till Thor hit him with lightning, and gets Dracula pinned.

Dracula again schools him, requiring the Godzilla like Orggo to grab Dracula and squish his head. Logan then chops the head off right after and has it thrown into the sun.
Its only fair to showcase some fights of Varnae, the original Lord of Vampires till Dracula took the title as the most powerful Vampire. This is a great scale reference to just how consistently powerful beings like Varnae and Dracula are.
Quick Bio on the original Vampire.
Some famous fights to showcase Varnae's own power.
Varnae vs Dr. Strange and Morbius.
Varnae takes on Thor in a drag out fight.
Varnae faces off against Strange, and Clea this time. Dealing with them both pretty well till his arrogance cost him with a attempt to turn Clea.
Well that is all I have for the Lord of Vampires for now. I think this should make a great starting point for many on the capabilities, and power this Marvel universe super villain possesses. Hail to the king baby!
