One seems like a contrast to the other, Here you have the Siren's with a legit badass group of girls who are serious in their exploits, then you have a coalition of has been heroes who have sort of a desperate housewive angle, (even though they are single)
Which do you prefer?
Marvel Divas vs Gotham city sirens
I'd love to see the two 'teams' in a fight
Even though Marvel Diva's would totally kick GCS asses.
Would be a good fight though.
" Why is sirens so bad to you? "I don't like Sirens because it's just an excuse for Paul Dini to throw together three of his favorite characters for a dumb reason. For example: Selina is supposedly weak and afraid to survive out in Gotham, so she goes to the two most psychotic women in town and what's the first thing they do after she buys them a hideout, they torture her. Now, let's rewind to BFTC: Underground, in it Catwoman is kicking ass. She takes down Firefly, rips through two face's car, and survives Jason Todd, all those acts arn't from someone that is unsure of herself. After that she is found by Ivy and Harley, couldn't Dini have just written something off of that? Ivy is also extremly thick in issue 2, how does she beleive Selina's lame story about Batman? I know that you think that Harley is stupid, but Ivy c'mon. After trying to use mind control Selina completly forgives them afterword. While in Hush she knocks Ivy out for doing almost the same thing (maybe Ivy should have offered Selina a 'free breakfast' in Hush). The artwork of Guillem March has been bothering me as well, even though I usually don't care about art in comics I just don't understand how he can go from this to this:
This is Paul Dini we're talking about, the guy who wrote the animated series and just finished a great run on detective comics. How can he create this crap. If you want a good Harley and Ivy story read this:
