Luke cage and marvel zombies question

So I've been reading marvel zombies and the thought just occurred to me and I don't want to have to flip back through everything to figure it out.

How did luke cage become infected? Most people were from bites but he has unbreakable skin. I can't remember now

I know this isn't the answer to your question but someone like Kitty Pryde could possibly infect him.

How was the Thing infected? Was Colossus infected?

I think the whole "unbreakable skin" thing is hyperbole. I'm sure Wolverine could pierce him without issue.

@rabumalal: Reed did something to infect all them. I think Ben got pricked in the eye. Colossus was one of the last defending and was just killed by by the avengers that rushed him. He couldn't turn...at least I don't think anyway.

@lettsplay10: My point is that I really doubt his skin is as durable as it seems. Someone like Sentry would have no issue infecting him. This question could be asked about any extremely durable character with 'unbreakable skin'.

Hyperion (or was his name Sentry) infected Luke didnt he?

I know i'm like a year late and you probably know this by now, but Robert Kirman initially intended for Luke Cage to be the star of series since he had unbreakable skin and couldn't be bit. But he found out that Greg Land had already drawn Cage as a zombie in Ultimate Fantastic Four so he switched it up. So my guess is he while smanging a freak she turned and bit his tongue, thus zombie cage lol.
