Well, that's a good question. The much-lauded Captain America: Civil War received firm accolades and great praise from critics, averaging a 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so one could put it forward as a solid contepfff HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA

I would say I liked TWS, CW, and Iron Man Three better than The Dark Knight, but that does not mean they are objectively better.

• Civil War and Winter Soldier come the closest but even then their still absolutely nowhere near as good The Dark Knight.
• And like i keep saying The MCU is mostly cookie cutter stuff their not trying to innovate film making...Which isnt a bad thing i for one enjoy the MCU films for what they are...High Quality Block Busters...I see people way too many people often judging these films like their Oscar bait and Art House Films...And thats a big mistake becuase these films are meant to be fun and silly...Their based on freaking Comic Books characters from the 40s-60s...Thats why i never had a problem with MCU villans becuase their like Carbon Copies of their Comic Book counterparts....Ronan, Malkeikith, Red Skull, Ultron,Loki....These guy werent meant to be deep Shakespearean villans they were meant to be silly recurring cartoonist villains with ludicrous ambitions along the lines with your typical saturday morning cartoon villain ...I always cringe when i hear people trying to compare the MCU villains to great cinematic villains like the ones on the AFI list... Villans like Fassbenders Magneto, Ledgers Joker,Liam Ras,Hardys Bane, Nicks Joker, are great but they were always more like the exception then the rule....CBM villans dont have to be deep and layered or posses extremely great motivations...The Box Office proves that...These are CBMs not novels...But i guess film critic Youtubers and disgruntled fans need something to complain about..
• And while were on the subject...I think peoples expectations are out of wack regarding the grading criteria of Superhero films.. The Dark Knight shouldn't be the measuring stick for CBMs becuase that wasnt really a CBM it was more of a Cop crime drama with a slight dab of theatricality and wacky makeup...The Dark Knight Rises and Batman: Begins were actual CBMs....And funny enough people didnt take to those films as nicely..I think the message is clear people will only award a Comic Book movie high achievement when its trying to pretend to be realistic...I think thats pretty funny..lol...Given the fact that comics by their very nature are supposed to be absurd morality tales.(Atleast that was the idea when they were first created back in the 30s)

None, but Guardians of the Galaxy, the Winter Soldier, Civil War, and the first Avengers all come close.

None, Dark Knight hands down was the best comic film, only downside was not very good fight scenes, Winter Soldier and Civil War IMO is slightly below Dark Knight Rises.

I think the best MCU films are Iron Man, Civil War, Avengers and Winter Soldier. But I don't think any of them are anywhere near how good TDK was.

None. TDK doesn't have the best action and there are several flaws in logical and even technical areas but within the movie as a whole with the amount of care and quality, and everything else it does so well they become negligible. By comparison, the flaws in the mcu movies, even if more minor, are more noticeable.

On a technical level: I'd say Winter Soldier is at least on par.

The Dark Knight's overrated..Remove Ledger's Joker and a big part of why it was good goes away.

Also that honestly not the first person I've heard say TDK is overrated and only Healths Joker holds it together. I actually saw someone on Movie Fights on YouTube say the same thing. Course I disagree...

Maaaaybe none, but TDK has Joker's silly plan.

Overall, it's one of my favourite movies, but that part of the story alone makes it hard for me to say "it is definitely superior to any MCU film." Even though it probably is.

Tbh I enjoyed the winter soldier better than TDK only good thing about the film was joker. Other than that the film Is overrated in my opinion.

Exactly, take Ledger's Joker out and a majority of what was good about it is gone. Bale's Batman is terrible and Two-Face felt shoe horned in near the end. For a Hollywood film it was good but for a Batman film it was pretty mediocre. When I first saw the Dark Knight Rises, I found it to be better than TDK halfway through until Talia showed up and Bane became irrelevant.

you are absolutely right. If there was no joker it probably wouldnt be great. Likewise if we remove captain america from TWS it wouldnt be good either
