Let's Fix It: DCAU Superman
Don’t really see much to fix....ehh I guess make him a little more consistent with his durability and strength? But even those weren’t that bad.

Well he was rather a bit too weak in the earlier seasons (i.e getting injured by missiles, struggling to lift a truck, getting dropped by a laser blast etc) but the writers simply wanted the rest of the league to not look irrelevant next to him. Though they took it a bit too far.
That said, he was reasonably powerful in the later seasons so I guess there is really nothing to fix. Though I wish he had used his super speed more often.
The show or the character?
The character
There was nothing wrong with him imo.Him being "weak" isn't an actual problem with his character, that just means his power level isn't as high as you'd like.

Exactly. They turned him into Worf of Justice League, knocked around by any two-bit villain.
The portrayal of Superman in new animated movies has flaws, but at least it has more realistic portrayal of his power.
@kairan1979: Agreed.

There's nothing to fix, friendo.
DCAU Superman was perfect for what he was. Krypton was not the galaxy-level society it has been made to be in other versions, Kryptonians were nerfed as was Superman himself. But that perfectly complimented the verse in which he inhabited. Superman was still the most powerful individual hero of the DCAU, but his weaknesses (which were organic and made sense for the character) allowed the other heroes to shine in a roster that, in other renditions, usually feels redundant when the Man of Steel is involved.
His weaknesses also served to add impact to the crises of each villain, episode, or arc. Teamwork was needed, and in many if not most major engagements, even Superman needed help to defeat a certain foe. That may be a far-cry from the near-messianic levels of power he reaches in other media, but I can't think of a better subliminal message for young kids (such as myself) to have been given on a saturday morning in front of the TV.
